After assembly, the shelf unit should be attached to the wall. Use fasteners suitable for the wall material and ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes in the wall where you intend to drill or screw.

Push the feet firmly onto the lower frame uprights, making sure that you have inserted the feet into the correct end (the end where the end frame doesn't go).

Start with the lowest shelf and push the hooks on the end shelf supports into the slots on the uprights.

- You may have to bend the hooks on the shelf supports slightly for them to slot into the uprights. They could be bent as in the picture.
- Tapping the supports down carefully might help if it is difficult to slot them into the uprights. Use a mallet and a piece of wood (or another suitable material).

Fit the centre shelf support and lay the shelf board in position.

Attach the upper frame section uprights and continue building the frame using the shelf supports in the same way as you did for the bottom shelf.

Clean the shelf unit using a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
