How to properly install my Bosch WAU28S29IT washing machine?

Remove all packaging and transport bolts (drum block). Connect the water inlet hose to the tap (pressure 1-10 bar) and the drain hose to an outlet. Plug the appliance into a 220-240 V socket. Use the spirit level to balance the appliance by adjusting the feet.

What to do if the washing machine does not turn on?

Check that the plug is properly connected and the circuit breaker has not tripped. Make sure the door is fully closed. If the problem persists, contact Bosch after-sales service.

How to clean the lint filter?

Unplug the appliance and open the pump cover at the bottom right. Turn the filter counterclockwise, remove it and clean the lint. Reinsert the filter and close the cover.

Why is the water not draining?

First check that the drain hose is not kinked or blocked. Then clean the pump filter (see previous question). If the problem persists, the drain hose or pump may be clogged or defective.

How to use the eco 40-60 program?

Select the 'Eco 40-60' program to wash normally soiled laundry at 40°C or 60°C. This program optimizes water and energy consumption while providing good washing results.

What does the error code displayed mean?

Consult the manual for the meaning of codes. For example, E:30 indicates a drainage problem. Clean the filter and check the hose. If the code persists, note it and contact customer service.

How to replace the door seal?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the door, the front panel, and the clamp (with plastic tools). Replace the seal following the reverse order of disassembly. Be careful of sharp edges, wear gloves.

Can I leave the washing machine plugged in permanently?

Yes, the appliance is designed to remain plugged in. However, unplug it during cleaning or repair. The AquaStop function protects against leaks even when in operation.

What is the maximum laundry capacity?

The nominal capacity is 8 kg for cotton programs. Do not exceed this load to avoid premature wear and ensure efficient washing.

How to maintain the drum?

Use the 'Drum cleaning' program or a 90°C cycle with special descaling detergent. Leave the door ajar after each wash to prevent mold.

The warning levels consist of a symbol and a signal word. The signal word indicates the severity of the danger.

3.8 Replacing door lock

As a manufacturer, we are obliged to provide consumers with the spare part door lock including repair instructions in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/2023. However, we would like to point out that after replacing a door lock, an electrotechnical safety test by a qualified electrician is required before the device is put into operation. This person must be verifiably qualified according to the country-specific laws, regulations and standards.
