What should I do if the power LED is not on?

Check if the Power Switch is in the ON position. Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the monitor and wall outlet.

Why is there no video or picture even though the power LED is amber?

Make sure the computer is powered on. Verify the video cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer. Check that the video card is properly seated in its slot. Test the computer by pressing Caps Lock to see if the LED responds.

How can I fix a missing primary color (red, green, or blue)?

Inspect the video cable for bent or damaged pins. If pins are bent, carefully straighten them or replace the cable.

No sound from the built-in speakers, what should I do?

Ensure the PC audio output cable is connected to the monitor's LINE IN port. Check that the volume is not muted in the OSD menu. For HDMI input, set AUDIO INPUT to PC and connect the audio cable.

The display is too dark or too bright. How do I adjust it?

Use the OSD menu to adjust the Contrast and Brightness settings under the Color Adjust section.

The screen image is not centered or sized properly. What can I do?

Adjust the pixel frequency (Clock) and Phase settings, or use the Auto Adjust function if available. Set the correct resolution in your computer's display settings.

How do I change the input source?

Press the Menu button, go to Input Select, and choose between HDMI or Type C depending on your connection.

What does 'CABLE NOT CONNECTED' mean?

The monitor is not receiving a video signal. Check that the signal cable is securely attached to both the monitor and the computer. Ensure the connector pins are not damaged.

The monitor displays 'INPUT NOT SUPPORT'. How do I fix this?

Your computer is set to an unsupported display mode. Change the resolution to one listed in the Factory Preset Timing Table in the manual, such as 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz.

Can I clean the monitor with any cleaner?

Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent solution. Never use strong solvents like thinner, benzene, or abrasive cleaners, as they will damage the cabinet. Always unplug the monitor before cleaning.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not use the monitor near water, e.g. near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.

SPECIAL NOTES ON LCD MONITORS

The following symptoms are normal with LCD monitor and do not indicate a problem.

• Due to the nature of the fluorescent light, the screen may flicker during initial use. Turn off the Power Switch and then turn it on again to make sure the flicker disappears.
• You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the desktop pattern you use.
• The LCD screen has effective pixels of 99.99% or more. It may include blemishes of 0.01% or less such as a missing pixel or a pixel lit all of the time.
• Due to the nature of the LCD screen, an afterimage of the previous screen may remain after switching the image, when the same image is displayed for hours. In this case, the screen is recovered slowly by changing the image or turning off the Power Switch for hours.
• If the screen suddenly flashes erratically or the backlighting fails, please contact your dealer or service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair the monitor yourself.

POWER

POWER SOURCE:

1. Make sure that the power cord is the correct type required in your area.
2. This LCD monitor has an Internal universal power supply that allows operation in either 100/120V AC or 220/240V AC voltage area (No user adjustment is required.)
3. Connect the AC-power cord one end to your LCD monitor's AC-input socket, the other end to wall-outlet.

MAKING CONNECTIONS

CONNECTING TO A PC

Turn off your computer before performing the procedure below.

1. Connect one end of the Type-C cable to the back of the monitor and connect the other end to the computer's Type-C port.
2. Connect one end of the Type-C cable to the back of the monitor and connect the other end to the PowerAdaptort.
3. Connect one end of the HDMI cable (optional) to the back of the monitor and connect the other end to the computer's HDMI port.
4. Connect the audio cable between the monitor's audio input and the PC's audio output (green port).
5. Turn on your monitor and computer.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Press the power button to turn the monitor on or off. The other control buttons are located on the front panel of the monitor (See Figure 4). By changing these settings, the picture can be adjusted to your personal preferences.

• The power cord should be connected.
• Connect the Signal cable from the monitor to the HOMI card.
• Press the power button to turn on the monitor. The power indicator will light up.

- Power Button:

Press this button to switch ON/OFF of monitor's power.

• Power Indicator:

Blue — Power On mode.

Amber — Power Saving mode.

- The OSD Menu and OSD Quick-Menu Symbol explanations and their functional uses are stated below.

• Do not install the monitor in a location near heat sources such as radiators or air dusts, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, or excessive dust or mechanical vibration or shock.
• Save the original shipping box and packing materials, as they will come in handy if you ever have to ship your monitor.
• For maximum protection, repackage your monitor as it was originally packed at the factory.
• To keep the monitor looking new, periodically clean it with a soft cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth lightly dampened with a mild detergent solution. Never use strong solvents such as thinner, benzene, or abrasive cleaners, since these will damage the cabinet. As a safety precaution, always unplug the monitor before cleaning it.

HOW TO ADJUST A SETTINGS

INPUT SELECT
HDMI TYPE C	Select the 「INPUT SELECT」 option to switch signals HDMI, or Type C.
AUDIO ADJUST
VOLUME	Select the 「VOLUME」 option to change the volume level. Enter the option and adjust the level. [This function applies only to models with incorporated audio.]● By high volume, risk of hearing damage exists.
MUTE	Select the 「MUTE」 option to switch the function On or Off. [The availability of this function depends upon the selected model. Adjusting the volume while muted cancels Mute mode.]
VIEW MODE
LOW INPUT LAG	Select the 「LOW INPUT LAG」 option to switch the function On or Off.
BLACK STABILIZATION	Select the「BLACK STABILIZATION」 option to adjust the Black Stabilization of the display. Set the value from 0 to 100.
ADVANCED CONTRAST	Select the 「ADVANCED CONTRAST」 option to adjust the Advanced Contrast of the display. Set the value from 0 to 100.
BLUE LIGHT FILTER	Select the 「BLUE LIGHT FILTER」 option to adjust the display's RGB “B” value. Set the value from 0 to 100.
RESPONSE TIME	Setup the display response time through the Response time function. Available settings are Standard, Advanced, and Ultra Fast. [This feature is limited to specific models only.]
RECALL	Resets the Standard monitor settings.
GAME	Integrating a gaming-oriented OSD design including pre-calibrated GAMER1, GAMER2, GAMER3, FPS1, FPS2, RTS and MOBA gaming settings, each mode is functionally customized with in-game testing and adjustments made for the best blend of color and technology. To access the game mode first open the Main Menu setting, then go to ‘ViewMode’, select 「Game」 and change your ‘GAMER MODE’ settings from there.

COLOR ADJUST
CONTRAST	Adjust the contrast value of the display according to your preference. Select「CONTRAST」option to adjust the contrast value.
BRIGHTNESS	Adjust the brightness value of the display according to your preference. Select「BRIGHTNESS」option to adjust the brightness value.
COLOR TEMPERATURE	Adjust the color temperature value of the display according to your preference: sRGB/Bluish/Cool/Native/Warm/User Color.
COLOR SPACE	Adjust the Color Space value of the display according to your preference:Auto/RGB Mode/YUV Mode.
COLOR RANGE	Adjust the Color Range value of the display according to your preference:Auto/Full Range/Limited Range .
MANUAL IMAGE ADJUST
SHARPNESS	Select the「Sharpness」option to adjust the sharpness of the display. Set the value from 0 to 100.
ASPECT RATIO	When the aspect ratio of screen is distorted, you may make adjustments by using this function.「FULL SCREEN」indicates full screen display, which does not ensure the image is shown as is or in initial scale.「✓」indicates scaling by the proportion of original images, which may cause the screen showing black bands.
OVERSCAN	Select the「OVERSCAN」option to the function On or Off.
SETUP MENU
LANGUAGE SELECT	Select「Language」option to change the language of the OSD. Enter the option and select a language. [Reference only, the OSD Language depends on the selected model]
RESOLUTION NOTICE	Select the「RESOLUTION NOTICE」option to the function On or Off.
INFORMATION	Display Horizontal frequency/Vertical frequency/Resolution information.
OSD TIMEOUT	Select「OSD TIME-OUT」option to set the OSD time out from 5 to 60 seconds. Enter the option and adjust the level.
OSD BACKGROUND	Select the「OSD BACKGROUND」option to the function On orOff.
POWER INDICATOR	Select the「POWER INDICATOR」option to the function On or Off.
AUTO POWER OFF	Select the「AUTO POWER OFF」option to the function On or Off.
SLEEP	Adjust the sleep mode value of the display according to your preference .

Plug & Play DDC2B Feature

This monitor is equipped with VESA DDC2B capabilities according to the VESA DDC STANDARD. It allows the monitor to inform the host system of its identity and, depending on the level of DDC used, communicate additional information about its display capabilities. The DDC2B is a bidirectional data channel based on the I²C protocol. The host can request EDID information over the DDC2B channel.

THIS MONITOR WILL APPEAR TO BE NON-FUNCTIONAL IF THERE IS NO VIDEO INPUT SIGNAL. IN ORDER FOR THIS MONITOR TO OPERATE PROPERLY, THERE MUST BE A VIDEO INPUT SIGNAL.

Addendum related to Windows 7 / Windows 8

When you encounter display problem under Windows 7/ Windows 8, you need to do the following:

1. Make sure your PC computer (Hardware requirement) can support Windows 7/ Windows 8.
2. Make sure your video card can run Windows 7/ Windows 8.
3. If your video card can support Windows 7/ Windows 8, need to install the latest Windows 7/ Windows 8 driver of your video card.

Suggest to do the following:

1. Install the latest Windows 7/ Windows 8 video driver of your video card.
2. Try to use the recommended display resolution that is supported by the monitor.
3. If the recommended display resolution is not working, try the second recommended display resolution.
