Installation

To begin the installation process, connect the USB 2.0 Hub to an available USB 2.0 port. Software installation will commence as follows:

Windows 98SE

  1. Windows will launch the Add New Hardware Wizard. Press Next to begin the software installation process.

  2. When the Add New Hardware Wizard appears, click Next:

  3. Windows will inform you that it is ready to install the driver for the device Generic USB Hub on USB 2.0 Bus. Click Next:

Add New Hardware Wizard This wizard searches for new drivers for: Generic USB Hub or USB 2.08 bus A device drives is a software program that makes a hardware device work. End Next Cancel

Add New Hardware Wizard Windows drive file search for the device Generic USB Hub on USB 2.0 Bus Windows is now ready to install the best driver for the device. Click Back to select a different driver, or click Next to continue. Location of drivers C:\WINDOWS\SINFIOTHER\ORANGE-1 UNF < Back Next > Cancel

  1. Follow any remaining prompts. When Windows informs you it has finished installing the drivers. Click Finish.
