Yes, it is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices, but at reduced speeds.
Does this hub require an external power adapter?
It is bus-powered when connected to a USB port, but for high-power devices (e.g., external hard drives), an optional 5V DC power adapter (not included) may be required.
Can I daisy-chain multiple HB20A4AME hubs?
Daisy-chaining is possible, but not recommended as it may cause signal degradation and power issues. For best performance, connect each hub directly to a USB port.

Are there any driver requirements?

What do the LED indicators mean?
A green LED indicates the hub is powered. Blue LEDs (or per-port) show activity when data is transferred.

What is the warranty period?
StarTech.com offers a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Can I connect a printer or scanner?
