How should I clean the mirror?

Always unplug the mirror before cleaning. Use a damp cloth with a mild cleanser or a commercial glass cleaner. Do not submerge the mirror or use excessive water. Dry completely before plugging in.

What power source does the mirror require?

The mirror operates on a standard 120V 60Hz AC household outlet. Do not use with any other electrical outlet to avoid hazards.

Is the mirror safe for use in the bathroom?

The mirror is intended for household use but is not waterproof. Do not use while bathing or in the shower. Keep away from water to prevent electric shock.

How do I adjust the magnification?

To switch between 1x normal and 7x magnification, simply swivel the mirror to the desired side while firmly holding the base.

Does the mirror come with a warranty?

Yes, HoMedics offers a 2-year limited warranty in the USA covering defects in material and workmanship. Proof of purchase is required for service.

Can I replace the fluorescent bulb?

The bulb is a lifetime fluorescent bulb and is not user-replaceable. The product has no user serviceable parts; any repairs should be done by HoMedics Service Center.

What should I do if the mirror gets wet?

If the mirror falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water. Allow it to dry completely before using again, and contact HoMedics if necessary.

Can I use the mirror with a voltage converter overseas?

The mirror is designed for 120V 60Hz only. Using a voltage converter may damage the mirror or cause fire or electric shock. It is recommended for use only in the USA.

How do I store the mirror when not in use?

You can display it on a stable surface or store it in its box in a cool, dry place. Never leave it where it can reflect direct sunlight as this may cause fire. Do not wrap the cord around the mirror.

What if the mirror stops working?

First check the power cord connection and outlet. If it still does not work, do not attempt to repair. Return the mirror to a HoMedics Service Center for examination.

Instructions for Use

1. Carefully remove all contents from the packaging and inspect the product to make sure all components have been received. (Fig. 1)
2. Remove protective plastic coating from mirror face.
3. Place mirror on an even surface.
4. Adjust the mirror to either normal or magnified viewing. To do so swivel the mirror to the viewing side of your preference while firmly holding down the base.
5. Plug unit into a 120V household outlet.
6. Locate the On/Off switch on the cord. Turn to the On position.
7. When finished turn the On/Off switch into the Off position and unplug the cord from the outlet.

To Store

You may leave the mirror on display or you can store it in its box or a cool, dry place.

• If you choose to display it, NEVER leave the mirror in a position where it can reflect direct sunlight, this may cause a fire.
• Do not wrap cord around the mirror.

To Clean

Always unplug before cleaning the mirror. Never use liquids or abrasive cleaners to clean, use only a damp cloth with a mild cleanser.

• Clean the mirror with only a commercial glass cleaner or water. Do not submerge the mirror or use excessive water while cleaning.
• Do not plug mirror in until it is completely dry.

HoMedics, Inc., guarantees this product free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.

This HoMedics product warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics. This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA. A product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under warranty. HoMedics shall not be responsible for any type of incidental, consequential or special damages. All implied warranties, including but not limited to those implied warranties of fitness and merchantability, are limited in the total duration of two years from the original purchase date.

To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, either hand deliver or mail the unit and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, along with check or money order in the amount of \$10.00 payable to HoMedics, Inc. to cover handling.

Upon receipt, HoMedics will repair or replace, as appropriate, your product and return it to you, postpaid. If it is appropriate to replace your product, HoMedics will replace the product with the same product or a comparable product at HoMedics' option. Warranty is solely through HoMedics Service Center. Service of this product by anyone other than HoMedics Service Center voids warranty.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual state regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
