How to install the pump?

Place the pump on a stable surface and connect the discharge hose to the outlet. Make sure the pump is immersed at least 1 m deep if it is submersible. Plug into a 230 V socket with residual current circuit breaker.

The maximum flow rate is 5 000 liters per hour at zero delivery head.

Can the pump pump dirty water?

No, this pump is designed for clear or slightly dirty water with particles up to 1 mm. For dirty water, use a lifting pump.

How to clean the pump after use?

Unplug the pump and rinse it with clean water. Clean the suction strainer with a soft brush. Do not use abrasive products.

What to do if the pump does not start?

Check the power supply, ensure the pump is immersed and that the float (if present) is in the high position. If the problem persists, check the thermal circuit breaker.

Can the pump run dry?

No, the pump must never run dry, as this would damage the seal and motor. It must always be immersed during operation.

This product is only suitable for private use for dry indoor locations. The touch light is intended for illuminate the completely carved pumpkin. The product is not intended for commercial use or for use in other applications.

Not suitable for household room illumination.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material. This is not a toy.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Check whether all of the parts are correctly fitted. If the product is not correctly assembled there is a danger of injury.
• Keep the product away from humidity.
• Avoid damage to the eyes! Never look into the beam of the LED. Never use optical devices such as magnifying glasses or similar to look into the beam of the LED. Protect yourself and your environment by taking proper precautions.
  ■ Never point the LED beam at reflective surfaces, people or animals. This could result in blindness or irritation of the eyes. Even weak LED radiation could lead to eye injuries.
  Do not subject the product to any extreme temperatures or severe mechanical stress. Otherwise this may result in deformation of the product.
  ■ The LEDs are not replaceable.
  If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives the entire product must be replaced.
  FOOD SAFE! This product has no adverse effect on taste or smell.
  This product is suitable for handicraft work and is not a toy! It is not suitable for children under the age of 8 years!
  If used by children, please only under the supervision of adults.

Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries

■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION!

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

■ Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.

Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.
■ Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

■ Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
- Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
- Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting!
■ Remove exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.

-Initialuse

Note: Remove the insulation strips before using the product for the first time.

Prepare the pumpkin

On the top of the pumpkin, use the felt tip pen 4 to draw a circular mark first. Then cut along the mark with the big saw 2 and remove the lid of the pumpkin (see Fig. C).
☐ Remove the pumpkin seeds with the trowel 1 (see Fig. D). If necessary, you can use the pointy edge of the spoon to further cut the pumpkin flesh.
☐ Select your desired template 8. Remove the black part of the template 8 along the perforated lines and hold it on the pumpkin.
☐ Use the felt tip pen 4 to draw a line along the template 8 (see Fig. E).
☐ Remove the template 8 after finishing the drawing. Then, use the small saw 3 along the marked lines to cut out the pattern (see Fig. F).

Prepare the touch light 5

Note: Remove the insulation strip before using the touch light 5 for the first time.

- Inserting / replacing the batteries (see Fig. B)

☐ Turn the battery compartment cover 6 counterclockwise and remove it.
☐ Insert the batteries into the battery compartment 7, paying attention to the polarity (+ and -). This is shown inside the battery compartment 7.
☐ Replace the battery compartment cover 6 and turn it clockwise to secure it.

- Switching on/off the touch light 5

□ Push the middle of the clear part to turn on and off the touch light 5.
☐ The touch light 5 will flash after one press. Press again to switch the touch light 5 off.
□ After finishing, place the touch light 5 inside the pumpkin (see Fig. G) and replace the lid of the pumpkin.

- Troubleshooting

☐ This product has delicate electronic components. This means that if it is placed near an object that transmits radio signals, it could cause interference.
Electrostatic charge can lead to the product failing. In cases of the product failing to work remove the batteries for a short while and then replace them.

- Cleaning and care

□ Switch off the touch light 5 before cleaning.
Do not clean the product with water or other liquids
□ Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the touch light 5.
□ Clean the trowel 1, big saw 2 and small saw 3 by using a lightly moistened cloth and a mild dishwashing detergent.
■ Under no circumstances should you use aggressive detergents or abrasives in order to avoid damaging the material.
☐ This product is not dishwasher safe.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibre-board/80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.

- Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
