- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety and they understand the hazards involved.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling of electrical appliances.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children, unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
- Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.
- The appliance should only be used under supervision.
- Warning: The appliance should not be immersed in water or other liquids. Never use the appliance with wet hands, over a

sink, bathtub or similar containing water. Never place the appliance at a wet or damp surface. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply immediately after use, if the appliance is used in a bathroom since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
-
The appliance is protected against superheating caused by e.g. a covered or blocked air intake. If the hair dryer stops when in use, switch off the hair dryer to let it cool off before it is switched on again.
-
The air intake must not be covered when in use, and should be cleaned regularly.
-
Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
-
For additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
-
The appliance is for domestic use only.
-
If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or is it not handled in accordance with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with the user. Any damages to the product or other things are not covered by the warranty.
Use
Towel dry the hair and brush it thoroughly so all loose hair is removed before using the hair dryer. Plug in the appliance and choose the desired setting/
heating with the rocker switches on the handle of the hair dryer. The hair dryer has 2 speed settings and 3 heat settings. High temperature and high airflow is preferable for fast drying, or if you just need a light drying before styling.
Ionic function
The built-in ionic function:
- prevents build-up of static charge on your hair
- makes the hair shiny
- dries the hair fast
The ionic function reduces static charge of your hair and shorten the drying time which makes it more gentle to your hair.
The ionisation function is activated once the hair drier is started.
Cool function
The different settings can be affected by the cool button (cold air). If you finish the styling by activating the cool function (press the blue COOL-button placed above the temperature switch and hold it down as long as you want to activate the function) you cool down the hair which gives you a longer lasting styling. Push down the button to shut of the function.
Diffuser
The diffuser is used to create volume. Place the diffuser on the hair dryer and move it in circular motions carefully against the scalp. The hair is now dried from the inside out, which gives more volume. The diffuser may well be used if you wish to dry curly hair without ruin the curls.
Nozzle
The air nozzle concentrates the air flow when styling your hair, for instance, using a round brush. The extra narrow nozzle is best used when you want a more specific, distinct style. The nozzles is mounted with a light pressure, and is twisted off after use. If the hair should be dried fast, remove the nozzle and choose a high temperature setting and high airflow.
Hanging loop
This hair dryer has a hanging loop on the cord which makes it easy to store after use.
Superheating
The hair dryer is protected against superheating, caused by e.g. a covered or blocked air intake or it the exhaust is blocked. In the event of superheating the hair dryer will stop automatically. If this happens, switch off the hair dryer, let it cool off, and the hair dryer will be ready again after a short while.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning.
- Clean the air intake regularly. The outer grille can easily be removed by turning it anticlockwise. There is a sound-absorbing filter on the inside of the outer grille. This is fixed in place and should not be removed. Clean the inner grille with a small brush to remove any dust and hair. Then replace the grille and secure it by turning it clockwise. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to clean the air intake when the appliance is switched off and the outer grille is in place.
- The surface is wiped with a soft, slightly wet cloth.
- The appliance should not be immersed in water or other liquids.
Disposal of the appliance

Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
