1. Read the instruction manual carefully before use, and save it for future use.
2. Plug the appliance to a household outlet of 120-230V only, and use the appliance only for the intended use.
3. Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply when disorder is experienced, when not in use, and before cleaning and maintenance.
4. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety and they understand the hazards involved.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Children are not always able to understand potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling of electrical appliances.
6. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children, unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
7. Check that the cord is not hanging over the edge of the table.

Use

The hairdryer can be adjusted to 120 and 230V and is therefore ideal when you travel. Remember to set the desired voltage before you plug in the appliance. Select the voltage by turning the “screw” that is located on the rear of the handle to the required voltage setting using the accompanying key.

Wash, towel dry and brush your hair. If you like you can add some mousse or hair gel and then style your hair with the hairdryer.

Cool function

The different settings can be affected by the cool button (cold air). Push the button upwards for continuous use, or just keep it pressed for short use. The hair cools, which gives you a longer lasting styling. Push down the button or release it to shut of the function. When the cool function is activated the speed might increase a bit.

Concentrator

The concentrator spout concentrates the air current, when a hair style should be formed, e.g. with a round brush. The concentrator spout is mounted with a light pressure, and is twisted off after use. If the hair should be dried fast, remove the spout and choose a high temperature setting and high airflow.

Hanging loop

This hair dryer has a hanging loop on the cord which makes it easy to store after use.

Overheating

The hair dryer is protected against overheating, caused by e.g. a covered or blocked air intake or it the exhaust is blocked. In the event of overheating the hair dryer will stop automatically. If this happens, switch off the hair dryer, let it cool off, and the hair dryer will be ready again after a short while.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning.
- Clean the air inlet by loosening the grille on the air inlet. Then remove any dust or hair using a small brush. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to clean the air inlet when the appliance is switched off.
- The surface is wiped with a soft, slightly wet cloth.
- The appliance should not be immersed in water or other liquids.
The handle can easily be folded for convenient storage.

Disposal of the appliance

Conditions & Exclusions

OBH Nordica shall not be obliged to repair or replace any product which is not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. The defective product may be returned to the store of purchase.

This guarantee applies only for products purchased and used for domestic purposes and will not cover any damage which occurs as a result of misuse, negligence, failure to follow OBH Nordica instructions, or a modification or unauthorised repair of the product, faulty packaging by the owner or mishandling by any carrier. It also does not cover normal wear and tear, maintenance or replacement of consumable parts, or the following:

• using the wrong type of water or consumable
• mechanical damages, overloading
