Frequently Asked Questions - 604-170 Hamron

How do I empty the dust bin?
Press the release button on the top of the dust bin and pull it out. Hold over a trash can, press the bottom latch to open the lid, and empty the contents. Reattach the bin until it clicks.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the HEPA filter at least once a month. Rinse with water and let it dry completely for 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use detergent.
What should I do if suction decreases?
Check if the dust bin is full or the filter is clogged. Also inspect the hose and brush for blockages. Empty the bin and clean the filter as needed.
Can I use the vacuum on hardwood floors?
Yes, but use the brush nozzle with the bristles retracted or a soft floor brush to avoid scratches. The main nozzle may be too harsh.
What is the cord length?
The power cord is 5 meters long, allowing a reach of about 8 meters from the outlet.
How do I replace the brush roller?
Remove the bottom plate of the floor nozzle. Lift out the old brush roller and snap in the new one. Replace the plate securely.
Is the vacuum bagless?
Yes, it uses cyclone technology with a reusable dust bin, so no bags are needed.
How do I store the vacuum?
Wind the cord around the hooks. Place the attachments in the storage caddy on the unit. Store upright in a dry area.
What is the noise level?
The noise level is approximately 75 dB, which is typical for a vacuum cleaner.
Where can I find spare parts?
Spare parts such as filters and brushes are available through the Hamron website or authorized dealers. Use part numbers listed in the manual.
