Frequently Asked Questions - QFC60200W Husqvarna-Electrolux

How do I clean the grease filter?
Remove the filter and wash it with warm soapy water or place it in the dishwasher at low temperature. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstalling.
Can I use the hood without a duct?
Yes, you can use it in recirculation mode by installing a charcoal filter (available separately). The air will be filtered and returned to the kitchen.
How do I change the LED lamp?
Switch off the power, remove the lamp cover, and replace the LED module with a compatible one of the same type (e.g., 20W LED). Reattach the cover.
Why is the hood noisy?
Check if the filter is clogged. Also ensure the ducting is not blocked and the hood is installed securely. Loose parts can cause vibration noise.
What is the minimum distance between the hob and the hood?
For gas hobs, the minimum distance is 65 cm; for electric hobs, it is 50 cm. Refer to your hob manual for specific requirements.
How often should I clean the grease filter?
Clean the grease filter every 1-2 months or more frequently with heavy use. A dirty filter reduces efficiency.
My hood is not extracting properly. What should I do?
First, check if the filter is clean. Then verify that the duct is not blocked or crushed. Ensure the hood is set to the correct speed for the cooking intensity.
Can I control the hood remotely?
This model does not support remote control. It is operated via push buttons on the front panel.
Does the hood come with a charcoal filter?
No, the hood is supplied with an aluminum grease filter only. A charcoal filter must be purchased separately if you plan to use recirculation mode.
What is the warranty period?
The standard warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase. Register your product on the Husqvarna-Electrolux website to extend the warranty.
