We recommend that you epilate in the evening the first time you use the epilator so that possible red spots disappears until morning. Note that some women can get sensitive and easily irritated skin the days before period and can experience the epilation more painful during these days. Take a warm bath or shower to open the pores and use a exfoliation cream to remove dead skin. This makes the skin soft and smooth and makes the epilation less uncomfortable. Make sure that the skin is clean, dry and free from moisturizers before you use the epilator. Use a moisturizer after epilation.

Use

Make sure that the switch is in off position. Insert the adapter plug into the bottom of the unit. Plug your adapter into an electrical outlet. Remove the protective cap from the epilator.

Start the epilator by pressing the switch to desired setting. Low speed (1) is recommended for fine hair and setting 2 for coarse hair.

Hold the unit at a straight angle (90°) with the OBH Nordica logo towards you so that both epilation heads is in contact with the skin during epilation. Pull your skin taut using your free hand to ease possible discomfort. Move the epilator in short, quick brush like strokes towards the direction of the hair. Note that the epilator must be held in 90° angle. If you press too hard against the skin the epilator will slow down or stop operating to avoid damaged skin.

Shaving of arm pits and bikini line

Be extra careful when epilating your arm pits and bikini line since the skin is very sensitive in these areas. Lift your arm over your head to make it easier to reach. If the hair is very long you may trim the hair with a scissor before you use the epilator. Pull your skin taut using your free hand while epilating and remember to hold the epilator in a straight angle. If the skin gets irritated after epilating, add some talc or a mild lotion and wait twenty-four hours before using deodorant or perfume under your arms.

Use of shaving attachment

Make sure that the switch is in off position. Remove the protective cap and remove the epilator head by pressing the release button on the front of the unit and at the same time lift the epilator head. Attach the shaving head with the protective cap on and press until it clicks into place. The shaving head can not click if it's placed the wrong way.

Remove the protective cap and it's ready to use. Important! The shaving head should only be used at high speed (2). Hold the unit at a slight angle and move it towards the direction of the hair so that the foil trap the hair and smooth away any stubble.

Cleaning and maintenance - after each use

Clean the appliance after use. Make sure that the epilator is shut off and unplugged. The main unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth and some mild detergent. Regular cleaning prolong the efficiency and life of the appliance.

Cleaning of epilator head

Remove the epilator head by pushing the release button on the front and lift upwards. Lift the epilator discs by squeezing both sides of the cover and lifting up the discs. Use the brush to remove hair on all sides of the discs. Replace the discs by gently pressing until it clicks into place into the cover. Place the epilator head back onto the unit until it clicks into it's place by lining up the teethed wheel on the body and the epilator head. Put the protective cap back.

To remove residue from the tweezers, use rubbing alcohol on the brush. Make sure the brush is not soaked in alcohol.

Cleaning of shaving head

Remove the shaving head from the unit by pressing the release button on the front of the unit. Remove foil and trimmer unit from the shaving head by carefully lifting under the trimmer. Clean with the brush and gently shake the foil- and trimmer assembly to remove hair accumulated inside the assembly. Replace the foil- and trimmer unit onto the shaving head by pressing until it clicks into place. Place the shaving head on the main unit and put on the protective cap.
