USING YOUR KITCHEN APPLIANCE
Assembly
- Place the motor section on a flat surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, and make sure it is standing firmly.
- Check that the protective cover is fitted in the accessory socket
- Tilt down the arm release handle. The arm tilts upwards.
- Fit the lid onto the underside of the arm and turn it slightly to the left, so that it locks into position.
- Fit the mixing bowl in the recess on the motor section base. Turn the mixing bowl slightly clockwise, so it locks into position.
- First mount the splash guard on the dough hook or the dough whisk (see the pictures). Turn the accessory clockwise until the metal pins lock into position.
- Then fit the desired accessory onto the accessory shaft on the underside of the arm.
o The dough hook is used for heavy dough, minced meat or other demanding kneading jobs.
o The dough whisk is used to mix lighter types of dough.
o The balloon whisk is used for whisking cream, egg whites, etc.
Turn the accessory, so the pins on the shaft are aligned with the depressions on the accessory's top edge. Press the accessory up towards the arm, turning it at the same time to the right so that the pins slide into position, thus securely locking the accessory in place. The accessory must not be
loose nor should you be able to pull it free.
- Lower the arm so that it locks into place with a click. The lid must fit tightly onto the mixing bowl. If not, it is fitted incorrectly.
- The appliance is now ready for use.
