Please read all these instructions carefully before using this appliance.

  1. The appliance must be connected to the mains whose current is compliant with the parameters on the housing.
  2. For additional protection, it is advisable to equip the electrical installation of the bathroom with a safeguard a residual current device (RCD) with a triggering rated differential current not greater than 30 mA. Consult a qualified electrician.
  3. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and older, by persons with limited physical and mental capabilities, and by persons who have no experience nor knowledge of the equipment, only under supervision or if instructed on the safe use of the appliance in way that guarantees that the associated risks are understood. Children shall not play with the appliance. Children should not clean nor maintain the appliance without supervision.
  4. The appliance heats up to high temperatures when used. Avoid contact with the skin and the power cord.
  5. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance, in case of malfunction, and after use. Do not leave the appliance plugged in, if it is not in use, even for a short time.
  6. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
  7. In case of hair styling, choose appropriate duration so as not to overheat the hair.
  8. Do not use the brush for artificial hair or for grooming animals.
  9. Do not use the appliance if it is wet, do not operate it with wet hands, near showers, tub water, sink water or water in any other container.

  10. If the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use. The proximity of water presents a hazard, even if the appliance is switched off.

  11. Do not immerse in water or spray any liquids onto the appliance.
  12. Never leave the switched on appliance unattended.
  13. Before putting the appliance away for storage, wait until it cools down.
  14. Regularly inspect the power cord and the entire appliance for any damage. Do not use damaged appliance.
  15. Do not insert the appliance into flames or any other source of heat.

DESCRIPTION

The electric hair brush is used for straightening and combing hair. The brush gives shine and smoothness to puffy or curly hair. The housing (1) of the brush is made of material resistant to high temperatures and the pins have anti-burning tips. By choosing the appropriate temperature, one can use the brush with thin, normal and thick or curly hair.

CAUTION!

Do not use the brush for artificial hair or for grooming animals. Do not keep the brush in the same spot for longer than 20 seconds.

Before using the brush, wash the hair and comb it thoroughly.

For best results, do not brush too much hair at once.

OPERATION

To switch on the appliance, press and hold the (5) button for approximately 2 seconds, then select the appropriate temperature depending on the type of hair. The temperature can be adjusted in steps of 5^ C by pressing (+) and (-) – increase temperature (3) and decrease temperature (4). The default temperature is 180^ C

  • fragile/thin/dyed hair – 170-190 °C (selecting low temperature may increase the duration of hair straightening)
  • normal hair 200-210 °C
  • dense/thick/curly hair 210-230 °C

When hair straightening is completed, switch off the appliance by pressing the (5) button and holding it for about 2s, then disconnect the appliance from the mains by pulling the plug. Do not pull the cord. Wait for the appliance to cool down before putting it away for storage. The brush switches off automatically after 1 hour.

During operation, the brush generates ions that remove static electricity from the hair, thus making it less puffed.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains,
  • clean the appliance only if it is cold,
  • do not immerse in water,
  • the external surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth

- do not use heavy-duty or surface-damaging detergents and cleaning products

  • the appliance is made of materials which can be recovered or recycled
  • the appliance should be handed over to the appropriate centre of collection and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment
