Frequently Asked Questions - CL60 COLBOR

How do I control the CL60 light?

You can control the light manually using the knobs on the back, via DMX (requires separate controller), or through the COLBOR smartphone app via Bluetooth.

Can I use the CL60 with a battery?

Yes, you can attach a V-Mount battery plate (sold separately) to power the light in the field. The light accepts DC input from 15V 4A.

What is the maximum brightness of the CL60?

The light has a 60W LED output and can achieve up to 12000 lux at 1 meter with the included reflector. It is dimmable from 0 to 100%.

Does the CL60 produce noise?

The cooling fan is designed for silent operation in normal mode. You can activate a silent mode (Fan OFF) for recording sensitive audio, but the light will reduce power after some time.

How do I clean the CL60 light?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the casing. For the LED lens, use a microfiber cloth with mild isopropyl alcohol if needed. Avoid water or abrasive cleaners.

What mounting options are available?

The light has a standard 5/8-inch baby pin and a 1/4-inch-20 screw mount, compatible with most light stands, booms, and grip equipment.

Can I use Bowens mount accessories with the CL60?

The CL60 uses a Bowens mount, so you can attach softboxes, snoots, barn doors, and other Bowens-compatible modifiers directly.

Is the CL60 suitable for outdoor filming?

Yes, with a battery plate and portable power, it is excellent for outdoor use. However, it is not weather-sealed, so protect it from rain and dust.

What is the lifespan of the LED in the CL60?

The COB LED is rated for over 50,000 hours of use under normal conditions. If it fails, it can be replaced by an authorized service center.

Does the CL60 support DMX control?

Yes, it has a 3-pin DMX input and output, allowing integration into a larger lighting setup with a DMX controller.

Safety Instructions

- Please read and fully understand this manual before using the product.

- Please remove the COB protective film to avoid damage by overheat before first use.

- Please remove the

Installation & Disassembly

1. Remove COB protective cover

Hold the COB protective cover and pull it out as the arrow shows.

★ Note: Make sure remove the cover before every use

to avoid heat damage.
