How do I use the Alpina SF-3005 citrus juicer?

Place the sieve holder, sieve, and cone onto the motor unit. Plug in the appliance. Press a halved fruit firmly onto the cone to start juicing. The juice flows through the spout; position a glass underneath. After use, flip the spout up to prevent dripping.

Can I wash the juicer parts in the dishwasher?

No. The cone, sieve, and sieve holder must be washed by hand in warm soapy water. The motor unit should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Do not use a dishwasher for any parts.

What is the maximum operating time for this juicer?

Do not operate the juicer for more than 5 minutes continuously. After 5 minutes, allow it to rest for a few minutes before using again. Additionally, the appliance is designed for 15 seconds of operation followed by 15 seconds of rest during use.

How can I prevent juice from dripping on the counter?

The juicer has a flip-down spout. After juicing, flip the spout up to stop dripping and spilling. Always ensure the spout is in the up position when not in use.

How do I store the power cord?

Underneath the juicer base, there is a cord wrap feature. Wind the excess cord around the base and exit it through the opening at the back of the appliance.

Is it safe to immerse the motor unit in water?

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. This appliance may only be connected to the same main voltage as shown on the rating plate.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse or rinse housing, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
6. Do not contact any moving parts while the appliance is operating.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard & damage to the unit.

CLEANING YOUR JUICER

1. Unplug cord from electrical outlet. Remove the cone, sieve and sieve holder from the appliance.
2. Flip the spout down fully in order to clean it properly. The spout cannot be detached from the appliance.
3. Clean the cone, sieve and sieve holder by using warm soapy water. Dry all parts. Do not clean these parts in a dishwasher.
4. Clean the motor unit by using a moist cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water or rinse it under the tap.

HOW TO USE YOUR APPLIANCE

1. Plug in the power
2. Put the Sieve holder on place correctly. (Fig 1)
3. Put on the sieve. (Fig 2)
4. Then insert the cone. (Fig 3)
5. Switch the appliance on by pressing the halved fruit firmly onto the cone. The juice will be extracted quietly and quickly. (Fig 4)
6. Put a vessel under spout. Flip the spout down towards the glass. The instant flow system guides juice directly into vessel. After you have finished, flip the spout up to prevent dripping and spilling juice.
   Always clean the appliance immediately after use (see in 'Cleaning').
7. Cord wrap under Citrus Juicer base and exit cord through the opening at the back of the appliance. If necessary, wind excess cord around. (Fig. 5)
