The remote control
This device comes with a remote control, of which most functions can be operated with navigation keys. For some APK, switch the mouse mode by pressing the mouse key before operation.
Connection and turn on
The steps below is for connection through an TV cable, if an AV cable is used, please connect it to AV (yellow, R (red), L (white) ports respectively on TV.
- Connect one plug of the supplied TV cable to the HomeBox, the other end to an TV IN port on TV. Connect the AC power adapter (5V/2A) to the device and to the power socket.
- Turn on the unit by pressing the power key on remote until the blue LED indicator lights up.
- Use TV remote control (the signal source key) to select right signal path for the TV IN port connected. There are normally several TV IN ports on a TV, and the connection can be enabled only when the right signal path is selected. If an AV cable is used, please select AV port instead.
Home interface
After device is on, home interface pop up. Click on APK listing to show icons of all installed APK on the device.
Language and input method
Setting → Language and input, select your language from the list.
You can also select input method by clicking on input area, and then clicking on the icon of keyboard on the bottom-right corner to show a list of all available input methods.
Connect to internet
Wireless connection
Setting → Wi-Fi, click on the desired wifi hot spot, input password of the wireless router for connection (A Wi-Fi icon pops up on the status bar after connection)
Note: Please ensure that the wireless router has access to external internet.
Wired connection
c) Plug in one end of the network cable to the LAN port on the device, and the other end to the router.
d) Setting→Turn on Ethernet, after connection, an icon of cabled connection appears on right corner of the status bar.
Keyboard connection
Plug keyboard USB transmitter to USB port of the device. Turn on the keyboard by switching the ON/OFF. The keyboard is now ready to use.
Bluetooth mouse connection
- To start the Bluetooth mouse, place the 2xAAA batteries (not included) in an appropriate manner in the power compartment of the mouse.
- To turn on the Bluetooth mouse, slide the power button from the OFF position to the ON position.
- To turn on Bluetooth on your tablet, click Settings> Wireless Networks, and then slide the Bluetooth function to the ON position.
- Press and hold for 3 seconds right and the middle mouse button and then release it.

Use the "Search for Devices" on the tablet. Tablet starts to search for Bluetooth devices.

After displaying the list of found devices, click the "Bluetooth Mouse".
- When the devices are paired the tablet screen shows "Connected input device." Bluetooth mouse is now ready to use.
Wireless Display
Currently it supports only mobile phones and Tablet PC powered by Android 4.2 or above, and the method for connection varies for different handheld devices. Generally go to setting → display, or WI-FI setting.
Go to WI-FI on phone, select setting → WIFI → WIFI DISPLAY. Select your device(device name is shown upon access of WIFI DISPLAY), after connection, the contents on mobile phone are streamed to TV display.
Note: for some mobile phones, this function is not available
