How do I pair the motion sensor with the main alarm panel?

Open the iGET SECURITY app and scan the QR code printed on the sensor. The pairing result will be confirmed by an SMS sent from the main panel. Make sure the sensor is within transmission range.

What type of batteries does the sensor use?

The sensor requires two AA 1.5V batteries. Alkaline batteries are recommended for longer life.

What is the detection range and distance?

The detection angle is 110° and the maximum detection distance is 9 meters. The sensor is more sensitive to cross movement than vertical movement.

Can the sensor be used outdoors?

No, the sensor is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to outdoor elements may cause malfunction.

How should I install the sensor for best performance?

Mount the sensor at a height of 1.8–2.2 meters from the ground with a downward tilt of 10°–20°. Use the double-sided sticky tape or screws to fix the bracket, then attach the sensor via the magnetic slice and stainless-steel bead for 360° adjustment.

What should I avoid when installing the sensor?

Avoid placing the sensor near windows, air conditioners, refrigerators, heaters, ovens, or large obstacles. Do not install two sensors in the same detection area to prevent interference. Keep away from strong light and rapidly changing temperatures.

How do I know when the battery is low?

The main panel will send an SMS notification to your phone when the battery needs to be replaced. Additionally, the LED indicator may behave differently.

Is the sensor compatible with other alarm systems?

The sensor is specifically designed for the iGET SECURITY M3 series smart alarm system and may not work with other brands.

How can I reset the sensor?

To reset, remove the batteries and press the trigger button for 5 seconds, then reinsert the batteries. This restores factory settings and requires re-pairing.

The M3P1 wireless motion sensor is an accessory of iGET SECURITY M3 series smart alarm system, mainly for indoor use. With high performance infrared sensor, works under digital dual-core fuzzy logic operative programming and intelligent analysis, it accurately detects human body movement and effectively avoids false alarms. Operating Instructions

1. Working principle
   with digital dual-core fuzzy logic operative programming and intelligent analysis, it accurately detects human body movement with infrared sensor and sends signal to main panel.
2. Pairing with main panel by App
   ① Scan the QR code printed on the sensor.
   ② The pairing result would be confirmed by SMS sent from main panel.

Installation & Notice

• Open the case and remove the battery insulative strip.
• Pairing with main panel by App before installing.
• Fix the bracket with double-side sticky tape or screws on wall, connect the sensor to bracket, adjust a proper angle. 360^ angle adjustment is easily available with connection of bead and magnetic slice.
• Recommended to install at height of 1.8-2.2m from ground, with gradient 10^ 20^ .
• Indoor use only. Avoid installing the sensors in area with strong light, temperature changes rapidly or the air stream flows frequently, like close to windows, air conditioner, refrigerator, heater, oven, and large obstacles.
• Aovid installing two sensors in the same detection scope to interference.
• The sensor is more sensitive to the cross movement than to the vertical movement, so the preference of sensor is best when the detection direction is vertical to the walking direction of people.
