INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this television product. In order to use this device to its full potential from the very start, read this manual carefully and keep handy for future use.
ATTENTION
Do not tamper with any internal device components and do not perform any adjustments that are not defined in this manual. LED TVs use high voltage. When cleaning dust or drops off the display or device case, you should first unplug the power cord from the socket and then wipe the device with a dry towel. To prevent damaging the TV, disconnect the power cord and antenna during a thunderstorm. Refer to a qualified service centre for all necessary repairs.
TV INSTALLATION AND SETUP
Instructions for assembling the stand
- Open the cardboard box and remove the TV, accessories and stand (only available with certain models).
- Place the device on a fl at service with the screen facing down. Use a blanket or other soft fabric to protect the display.
- Slide the stand into the holder and firmly tighten with the included screws.
- You are now finished with the assembly.

Positioning
- Place the unit within the room so that the display is not exposed to direct sunlight.
- Complete darkness or reflections on the screen can cause eye fatigue. Soft indirect light is recommended for comfortable viewing.
- Leave enough space between the device and wall to allow sufficient air circulation.
- Stay away from excessively warm areas to prevent damaging the case of the device or the premature ageing of components.
- Do not cover ventilation holes.

Antenna and power connection
- Connect the antenna cable to the antenna connector on the back side of the TV.
- Plug the power cord into the electric socket.
- Switch the TV on.
Press the On/Off switch on the TV. The indicator will turn green. When the TV is in standby mode (red indicator), the TV can be turned on by pressing a button on the remote controller.

Picture menu
Press MENU to display the main menu.

Available picture modes: Dynamic, Soft, Standard, User.
Tip: Press P.MODE to directly set the screen mode.
Brightness/Contrast/Sharpness/Colour/Tint
Brightness Brightness settings.
Contrast Contrast settings.

Colour Colour saturation settings.
Tint Colour hue settings. For signal in NTSC format only.
Colour Temp
Changes the overall colour representation of the picture.
Aspect ratio
Choose the desired aspect ratio.

Noise reduction
Noise reduction in picture. This setting is used to reduce noise and enhance picture quality. Noise reduction settings include Low-Middle-High. Increased noise reduction can be achieved at the expense of picture sharpness
Audio menu
Press MENU to display the main menu.
Press ENTER /▶ to select Sound from the main menu and press ENTER /▶ to enter the menu.

- Select the option you wish to configure in the "Sound" menu via ▼/▲.
- Press ENTER/▼ to enter the menu and press ◀/► to choose the desired setting.
- When you have finished with the configuration, press MENU/ENTER to save the changes and return to the previous menu.
Sound Mode
Available modes: Standard, Movie, Music, Speech, User.
Tip: Press S.MODE to directly set the sound mode.
Press ▼/▲ to select Sound Mode and choose the desired mode via ◀/▶.
Treble / Bass / Balance
Treble High frequency tones can be increased or decreased.
Bass Low frequency tones can be increased or decreased.
Balance The balance between left and right channel volume can be adjusted.
Surround Sound
Press ENTER/▶ to enter the menu and press ▼/▲ to choose On or Off.
AVL
Automatic volume control setup.
Press ▼/▲ to select On or Off.
SPDIF
Press ENTER/▶ to enter the menu and press ▼/▲ to choose Off / Auto / PCM.
Channel menu
Press MENU to display the main menu.
Press ENTER /▶ to select Channel from the main menu and press ENTER /▶ to enter the menu.

Channel Manager
The Channel Management menu allows the user to manage individual channels (delete/rename/swap/lock/skip).

Press ▼/▲ first highlight the channel you wish to delete, move or skip. Next:
- Press the red button to delete the highlighted program.
- Press the green button to run set the channel lock. (When surfi ng through channels via CH+/-, these channels will automatically be skipped.)
- Press the yellow button to move the channel to a new position via the ▼/▲ buttons.
- Press the blue button to swap the channel at the current position with a different channel. Press ▼/▲ to select a different channel and press the blue button to swap these channels.
Favorite Management
Allows managing (add/delete) favorite channels.

Press ▼/▲ to select the channel you want to add to the favorites list, and press the red, green, yellow or blue button to highlight to the channel.
Country
Press ▼/▲ to select the country.
Auto-tune

All Mode: Select "All" to first search through all digital channels and then automatically search through all analog channels within the selected country. Press EXIT/MENU to skip searching through digital channels and go directly to analog channels, press EXIT/MENU while searching through analog channels to exit the search process.
DTV mode: Search all digital channels in selected country. The search process is started by pressing EXIT/MENU.
ATV mode: Search all analog channels in selected country. The search process is started by pressing EXIT/MENU.

Lock
Lock Channel:
On: activates lock.channel. Viewing a locked channel requires the user to enter a password. The password shall also be entered for changes such as reset system or reset database.
Off: deactivates lock channel.
Parental control: Off : deactivates parent control
4–18: activates parent control and age limit setting for viewing programs
Change Pin Code:
Press ENTER /▶ to set a new password, then enter a four digit password and enter again to confirm.
Default password: 0000
Language
Press ▼/▲ to select "Language" menu. Press ENTER /▶ to enter the menu and set the OSD menu language, preferred subtitle and audio track language, digital teletext language and analog teletext language.
Clock
This menu is used to set the time, time zone and daylight savings time.
Sleep Timer
This function can be used to set the time after which the TV shall be switched off. The timer can be set to Off (inactive), or to 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, or 240 minutes.
Automatic shut off
The Auto Power Off function can be used to set the time after which the TV shall be automatically switched off. The available options are 1, 2 or 4 hours.
Hearing Impaired
This function displays non-speech subtitles, such as “knock on door” or the “bell ringing”, making the viewing experience better for the hearing impaired.
CI info
This option is only available in DTV mode with an inserted CI card.
Setup Menu
Press MENU to display the main menu.
Press ENTER /▶ to select "Setup" from the main menu and press ENTER /▶ to enter the menu.

- Select the option you wish to configure via ▼/▲.
- Press ENTER/▼ to enter the menu and press ◀/► to choose the desired setting.
- When you have finished with the configuration, press MENU/ENTER to save the changes and return to the previous menu.
OSD Timer
Here you can confi gure how long the menu shall be displayed on the TV screen. The available options are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 seconds or "Never".
Auto SCART
Switch to the Auto SCART feature.
PC setting
Available only in PC mode (signal input from PC).

Auto setup: Automatic setup of the horizontal and vertical position, phase and clock.
H Position: Manual setup of the horizontal position.
V Position: Manual setup of the vertical position.
Phase: Manual setup of the phase.
Clock: Manual setup of the clock.
Blue Screen
Not available in PC mode, DTV mode or multimedia mode. If no input signal is available for analogue TV reception and the blue screen feature is disabled, noise will be shown on the screen. If the feature is enabled, a blue screen will be shown in the absence of signal reception.
Reset settings
If the lock is enabled for this menu, a password shall be entered to reset the current settings. This command will reset the system settings and database. The user will be prompted to confirm the reset before the reset itself. Once the reset is complete, the device will go to the auto-installation page.
Software Update
A Software Upgrade can be performed using a binary file. The file containing binary code is placed into the root directory of the memory device, the memory device is connected to the USB port of the TV and the upgrade sequence is started by pressing ENTER. Do not switch off the power during the upgrade sequence. The device will restart after the upgrade is complete.
Multimedia
Photo
Press ◀/▶ to select PHOTO in the main menu and press ENTER to access the photo page.

Music
Press ◀/▶ to select MUSIC in the main menu and press ENTER to access the music page.

Movie
Press ◀/▶ to select MOVIE in the main menu and press ENTER to access the movie page.

eBook
The only supported format for eBooks is TXT.
Press ◀/▶ to select eBook in the main menu and press ENTER to access the e-book page.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
EPG
Press EPG on the remote controller to show information about the current program or to determine upcoming programs for the current station. The date and time will be displayed in the top right corner of the menu, a list of currently available stations will be shown on the left side of the screen, the names of programs and their schedule times will be shown in the right part of the screen. Press ◀/▶ to toggle between lists, press ▼/▲ to select a program. The top part of the screen displays information about the highlighted program.
The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) has three modes:
Daily: program information is displayed in daily mode.
Weekly: program information is displayed in weekly mode.
Extended: detailed information is displayed for each program.
Daily Mode
Displays program information and scheduled showing times for each station. The information includes the name of the program, start time, end time, short description of the program, current date/time, etc.
Provided the currently highlighted program is not protected by parent lock, it will also be displayed in the background of the menu.

Weekly Mode
Displays program information and scheduled showing times for each station. The information includes the name of the program, start time, end time, short description of the program, current date/time, etc.
Highlighting various stations in the list on the left displays the program scheduling for these stations.
Provided the currently highlighted program is not protected by parent lock, the current program will also be displayed in the background of the menu.

Extended Mode

PVR
This chapter describes some of the functions the integrated recorder has to offer, including PVR menus, playing recorded material and recording limitations.
PVR menus: PVR/Timeshift, Partition List, Timer, Timer Edit, Record List, REC info and Timeshift info.

Recording
Press REC to start recording the currently broadcast program. "Do you want to start Recording?" will appear. After the message is confirmed, the device determines the speed of the connected memory device. "Device speed not enough, RECORD anyway?" will appear if the device is too slow for recording. If you select "Yes", forced recording will start in limited mode. If the speed is sufficient, the recording sequence starts automatically.


Timed recording
There are two ways to set the timer:
Programmed viewing or recording a program under the EPG menu.
Press the green button once to program viewing only (the TV will switch to the respective program at the start time).
Press the green button twice to program recording (the TV will switch to the selected program at the configured time and the recording sequence starts). If the TV is in standby mode at the program start time, the device will start 2 minutes before the scheduled recording time and the recording sequence will start in the background without turning on the display. To view the program, the On/Off switch must be pressed.
Scheduled program recordings can be reviewed in the Timer menu.

Scheduled program recordings can be added and deleted in the Timer menu. Information about scheduled program recordings can be edited in the Timer Edit menu.
Timer menu: press the yellow button to navigate to the Timer Edit menu and add a timer. Set the information for the given timer under the Timer Edit menu.
Timer parameters:
Type: Set the program type – DTV or RADIO.
Mode: Timer start method (once/daily/weekly/monthly).
Recorder: On – programmed viewing and recording. Off – programmed viewing only (reminder).
Set the date/time and duration (exact minutes). The parameters must be valid (the start of the program should not be set before the current time).
A warning message will appear in the event of a timer conflict.
Press MENU to save the information and return to the Timer menu.

The TV automatically switches to the respective station at the program start time and starts the recording sequence. If manual recording is already active, the manual recording sequence will be interrupted and the timed recording process will start. The following information dialog will appear 20 seconds before the recording sequence is scheduled to start:

If no storage device is connected, recording will not start and "No Storage Device" will appear on the screen. If no target partition is set, the first partition of the memory device is automatically selected for the recording sequence.
TROUBLESHOOTING

| Interfering horizontal stripes through the picture | • Interference caused by electric appliances, such as hair dryers or vacuum cleaners. Switch appliances used near the TV off . |
| The TV does not react to remote controller operations | • Direct the remote controller towards the remote control sensor on the TV.• Remove any obstacles between the remote controller and the TV sensor.• Make sure the batteries in the remote controller are not dead. |
| No picture in PC mode • Make sure the video cable connection to the VGA connector is intact.• Makes sure the format of the picture from the PC is compatible with this TV. | |
| Vertical vibration (in PC mode) • Adjust the display frequency for the picture from the PC. | |
| The picture in PC mode is too light or dark | • Adjust the brightness and contrast. |
If the instructions above do not help eliminate the issue, unplug the TV from the power supply for about 60 seconds and then plug the TV in again. Should the issue persist, refer to a qualified repair shop. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
