- Make sure that the appliance is turned off by ON/OFF button (no LED is lit) (10).
- Press and hold for 5 seconds the drain valve button (1) on the upper lid of the appliance (Fig. 2).
- Release the opening system (3) and open the lid of the appliance.
- Place foodstuff to be stored on the tray at the bottom of the bowl.
CAUTION:
Foodstuff that might clog the vacuum pump filter (crumbs or liquids) must be put in a bag or a suitable container before it is placed in the vacuum bowl.
Never place foodstuff directly on the vacuum pump filter (6). This could reduce the pump performance or cause permanent damage to the device.
- Close the bowl lid and secure it by a locking system.
- Press ON/OFF button (4). The integrated pump starts to exhaust air from the bowl immediately (red light is lit). Once the air is vented (after about 1 minute), the pump is turned off automatically (green light is lit).

A) Automatic mode

B) Manual mode
When the air is exhausted, switch the ON/OFF button to off position. To activate the vacuum pump, switch the button on again.
Use of box with batteries:
- Remove the battery cover (9) in the bottom of the bowl.
- Place 4 pieces of D batteries of 1.5 V according to +/- polarity indicated.
- Fit the battery cover back in its place and then follow the instructions stated in „Use of bowl with AC adapter“, starting from item 3.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance regularly according to the frequency of its use to prevent accumulation of foodstuff remains and generation of unpleasant odour.
Use a clean damp cloth for cleaning.
Never rinse or immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
The vacuum pump must always be kept clean. Before each use, make sure the filter is not clogged with foodstuff remains.
The appliance is not to be cleaned in a dishwasher or heated in a microwave oven!
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. If the appliance does not work, check the following:
Is the AC adapter connected properly?
Are the batteries inserted correctly?
Are batteries discharged?
Are there any foodstuff remains in the vacuum pump or its filter?
2. If the appliance still does not work, try the following:
Turn on the appliance using the ON/OFF button and press the bowl lid gently with both hands until the vacuum pump stops working.
If the pump motor does not stop working, even though there is no air left in the bowl, the problem may be caused by old batteries.
The manufacturer, importer and seller are not liable for damages arising from breach of the appliance operating instructions.
