Safety interlocks


Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. Please keep the sales receipt for guarantee purposes (pls see below “Guarantee and Customer Service”) Any use which does not conform to the instructions will absolve IZZY from any liability.
• Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the appliance.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while operating.
- Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being us near children or infirm people. Ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by people with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, children or those with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
- Switch off and unplug:
– Before fitting or removing parts.
- After each use.
- Before cleaning.
- Never use the appliance for any other use than indicated.
• The device is intended for indoor use. Do not use the device outdoors.
- The device is intended only for domestic use. Any other use will cancel the warranty.
• Always use the appliance on a secure, dry level surface.
- Do not operate or place the device or its parts in places of high humid or where it may get wet.
- Keep fingers, hair, clothing and utensils away from moving parts.
- Never let the power unit, cord or plug get wet.
- If the appliance does get wet, immediately remove the power cord from the plug. Do not put your hands in the water. Never run the wet appliance
and contact one of the authorized BENRUBI service centers.
- Never place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or where it could touch a heated appliance.
- Misuse of the appliance can result in injury.
- Do not let the power cord of the appliance hang over the edge of a table or bench top or touch any hot surface.
- Never leave the power cable wrapped during use. Unwind it completely.
- Never use highly corrosive or abstractive cleaning agents. Never use metal scouring pads for cleaning.
- Do not move the appliance when in operation.
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
- Do not use an extension power cord.
- Check the power cord periodically for possible damages.
- If the power cord or the plug of the appliance have been damaged, do not use the appliance and contact an authorized BENRUBI Service Center.
- In case of a possible damage, do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact one of the authorized BENRUBI servic centers.
- Any repair made by an unauthorized BENRUBI Service Center CANCELS THE GUARANTEE.
- Any misuse of the device cancels the warranty.
- Use only original spare parts.
- The appliance conforms to EC directive 2004/108/EC on Electromagnetic Compatibility and EC regulation no. 1935/2004 of 27/10/2004 on materials intended to contact with food.

Before the First Use
- Wash the parts of the appliance. See “care and cleaning” section.
Using the Hand Mixer
- Unwrap the cord.
- Insert the dough hooks (10) or beaters (11) and push them in until you hear the clipping sound.
- Plug in the appliance in the socket.
- With the ingredients in a bowl of an appropriate size, place the dough hooks (10) or the beaters (11) into the bowl.
- Press the ON/OFF button (4)
- When the mixture reaches the desired consistency, press the ON/OFF button (4) and then lift the dough hooks (10) or beaters (11) out of the bowl.
- Unplug.
- Remove the accessories by pressing the accessories ejection button (3). When ejecting the tools, hold on the tool shafts.
Attention: Do not operate the hand mixer for over 3 minutes continuously.
Hints for Hand Mixer
- For cake mixtures, use butter or margarine at room temperature or softened.
- To avoid overloading your mixing bowl, select one of an appropriate size.
- Large quantities and thick mixtures may require a longer mixing time.
- When whipping cream, use a high-sided bowl to minimize splashing.
Use of Stick Mixer
You can blend soups, sauces, milk shakes, mayonnaise, baby food etc.
- Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the electrical outlet before assembly.
- Cut large ingredients into pieces of approx. 2cm before you process them.
- If your hand blender gets blocked, unplug before clearing.
- Do not use the stick mixer to process uncooked vegetables.
HINT: To avoid splashing, place the blade in the food before switching on.
IMPORTANT: Your hand blender is not suitable for ice crushing.
- Insert the stick foot (12) into the socket (6) by sliding the door of the socket with one hand and inserting the stick foot (12) with the other hand. Screw well.
- Plug in the appliance in the socket.
- Place the stick foot (12) into a pan/bowl and then press the ON/OFF button (4).
- After use, release the ON/OFF button (4).
- Unplug the appliance and remove the stick foot (12) by unscrewing and pulling it out of the socket (6).
Notes:
- For safer use, it is advisable to remove the pan from the eye and allow the hot liquids to cool until they reach room temperature before mixing.
- Do not allow the fluid to reach a level higher than the joint between the handle and the axle of the rod.
- Mix the food with the bar by slicing or mixing the ingredients until they have a uniform texture.
Attention: Do not operate the stick mixer for over 1 minute continuously.
Use of the Chopper
You can chop vegetables, herbs, biscuits and nuts.
- Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the electrical outlet before assembly.
- Don't chop hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cube, spices or chocolate – you'll damage the blade.

Remove any bones and cut food into 1-2cm cubes.

Fit the chopper blade (1) over the pin in the copper bowl (8).
- Place the food into the bowl (9).
- Fit the chopper lid (7) into the socket (6) by sliding the door of the socket with one hand and inserting the chopper lid (7) with the other hand. Screw well.
- Place the body of the appliance with the lid and attach it to the bowl of the chopper (8). Make sure it is securely fastened to the bowl notches.
- Plug in the appliance in the socket.
- Hold the bowl firmly with the one hand and press the ON/OFF button (4) with the other until it reaches the desired result.
- When you reach the desired result, unplug the appliance and wait for the knives to completely.
- Remove the lid (7) from the bowl, remove the knife (1) and empty the contents.
- Unscrew the bowl cover (7) from the socket (6).
Attention: Do not operate the chopper for over 30 seconds continuously.
Care and Cleaning
- Always switch off, unplug, and remove the accessories before cleaning.
- Never put the body of the appliance in water or let the cord or plug get wet.
- Never use abrasives to clean the parts of the appliance.
Dough hooks, beaters, stick foot, chopper knife, chopper bowl & lid: Wash by hand, then dry. Do not place in dishwasher.
Body of the appliance: Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.

- The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear, breakage, scaling, improve installation or maintenance of the product, mishandling, abnormal working conditions, failure to implement the instructions, conversion or repair of the product by an unauthorized technician who does not belong to the BENRUBI Service Centers.
Also, the warranty does not cover the following indicative factors:
• Stains, discoloration or scratches.
- Burns due to exposure to heat or flame.
- Damage from thermal shock (sudden temperature change or change of voltage).
