- read the whole content of this user manual before using the appliance for the first time connect the connection cord to a socket which complies with the specification provided in the manual.
- set the appliance on a flat, stable and high temperature resistant surface.
- always disconnect the appliance from the mains by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
- disconnect the appliance from the mains whenever it is not used or before cleaning it.
- do not immerse the cord or the appliance in water.
- do not use in open air.
- do not use nearby inflammable materials such as furniture, bedding, paper, clothes, lace curtains, linings etc.
- do not leave children without care nearby the appliance parts of the appliance become hot when the appliance is being used. You should hold the appliance only by the handgrip.
- be careful when taking out the sandwiches. Ready made sandwiches are hot and can burn.
- do not leave the appliance unattended when it is being used.

DESIGNATION
GK150 electric grill is designed for grilling, frying, heating, etc. of different types of food. Thanks to the moveable top cover, the device can be used as a contact grill (simultaneous, two-sided roasting of different thickness products) or as a traditional, horizontal grill (after opening to 180 degrees).
■ SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE
Before using the appliance, make sure that the appliance, the plug and the power cable are in good technical order and whether all parts of the package were removed.
Before the first use, all parts of the appliance that are in contact with food must be thoroughly washed (see: Cleaning and maintenance).
Specific smell may be sensed during the first use, which results from the production process. It is a normal process and it will go away after a time. Ensure the proper ventilation in the room, e.g. opening the window. The first use of the appliance should be without products.
USE
Before using the device and plugging it in to the power supply mains with the parameters compliant with the ones indicated on the device, set the thermostat (8) in the "0" position.
CONTACT GRILL
- Set the device on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
- Close the cover (1).
- If the products for grilling contain a large amount of fat you can lift the device by its moveable feet (4), and place one of the containers (11) under the spout (10).
- Connect the device to a power supply. A red pilot light will come on.
- Set the temperature using the thermostat (8). A green pilot light is lit when the device is heating up, and it turns off, when the device reaches the desired temperature.
- Open the cover (1) holding it by the holder (9). Place the products and gently close the cover (1). Do not push the cover (1) down, as you may crush the products, and do not block it during operation (3). The cover (1) will automatically adjust to the thickness of the products.
- The green pilot light turns on and off during frying. The thermostat maintains a proper temperature.
- Remove the products when they are done frying. In order not to damage the heating plates, use wooden or plastic, heat-resistant utensils.
- During the preparation of new portions of products, close the cover (1) in order to maintain the temperature.
- Empty the container (11) regularly.
- After the full completion of roasting, disconnect the device from the power supply.
HORIZONTAL GRILL
- Set the device on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface. Push the lock button (3) and open the top cover holding it by the holder (9).
WARNING
Opening the top cover is only allowed when the device is cold. Otherwise, there is a risk of burns.
Route the power cord in such a way that it does not come into contact with the top cover.
- If the products for grilling contain a large amount of fat you can lift the device by its moveable feet (4), and place the containers (11) under the spouts (10).
- Connect the device to a power supply. A red pilot light will come on.
- Set the temperature using the thermostat (8). A green pilot light is lit when the device is heating up, and it turns off, when the device reaches the desired temperature.
Place the products on the plates and grill turning them once in a while.
- The green pilot light turns on and off during frying. The thermostat maintains a proper temperature.
- Remove the products when they are done frying. In order not to damage the heating plates, use wooden or plastic, heat-resistant utensils.
- Empty the containers (11) regularly.
- After the full completion of roasting, disconnect the device from the power supply.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- before cleaning, unplug the appliance and leave it until it has cooled down
- do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquids
- at the beginning wipe the heating plates with paper towels to remove the fat then clean the appliance and the cable with a slightly damp cloth. Before the next use, wipe the appliance dry.
- do not use detergents and solvents
- in case of residues which are hard to remove, do not use hard tools as they may damage the coatings applied on the plates of the appliance. It is best to put a wet cloth on heavy residues which will soften the
