1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The product is for household use only. - Connect the appliance to single phase AC supply of the voltage specified on the rating plate.
- In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the radiator.
- Never leave the radiator unattended while it is in use. Always turn the product to the OFF position and unplug it from the electrical outlet when not in use.

- Extreme caution is necessary when any radiator is used by or near children, invalids or elderly people and whenever the radiator is left operating and unattended.
- The radiator must not be located immediately below an electrical socket-outlet.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting and do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or alike. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
- Do not operate the radiator with a damaged cord or plug, or after the radiator malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person to avoid a hazard.
- Avoid the use of an extension cord as this may overheat and cause a risk of fire.
- Use the radiator in a well-ventilated area. Do not insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. Use the radiator on flat, dry surfaces only.
- Do not place this radiator near flammable materials, surfaces or substances, as there may be a risk of fire. Keep the above flammable materials, surfaces or subs-

tances at least 1 m away from the front of the product and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Do not use the radiator in any areas where petrol, paint or other flammable liquids are stored e.g. Garages or workshops as a hot, arcing or sparking parts inside the radiator.
- Don't use this radiator in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Never place the radiator where it may fall into bathtub or other water container.
- This radiator is hot when in use. To avoid burns and personal injury, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving the product.
- Be sure that no other appliances are in use on the same electrical circuit as your product as an overload can occur.
- This radiator is filled with a precise quantity of special oil.
- Repairs requiring opening the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer or its service agent who should be contacted if there is an oil leakage.
- Regulations concerning the disposal of oil when scrapping the appliance have to be followed.
- The radiator should not be used in a room with less than 5m^2 .
- The cord shouldn't be placed nearby the hot surface of the appliance.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1. Product Description

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The radiator is packaged with the feet unattached. You must attach them before operating the radiator.
WARNING: Do not operate without the feet attached. Operate the radiator only in the upright position (feet on the bottom, controls on the top), any other position could create a hazardous situation.

- Place the radiator body upside-down on a scratch-free location, make sure it is stable and will not fall.
- Screw off the wing nuts from the U-shaped bolt provided, attach the U-shaped bolt to the U-facing flange between first and second fins (near the front cover).

- To attach the caster mounting plate to the radiator body, you should insert the threaded ends of the U bolt in the holes on the caster mounting plate.
- Screw the wing nuts back to the U bolt and fasten the wing nut properly.
Note: do not over tighten, which may cause the damage of radiator flange.
- Screw off spherical nut from the caster, align the shaft to the hole of the caster mounting plate, insert in, and screw on the spherical nut.
- Repeat 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the rear of radiator for mounting of the rear casters.
Note: the rear casters must be mounted between the end two fins.

2.2. Using the Product
- Before using the radiator, make sure that it is on a flat and stable surface, as damage may occur if it is placed on an incline or decline surface.
- Set all the controls to the OFF position and insert the plug into a grounded socket-outlet. Be sure that the plug fits firmly.
- Rotate the thermostat knob clockwise to the MAX position and switch the radiator on as follow: switch I for low heat, switch II for medium heat and switch III for high heat.
- When your room reaches the desired temperature, now slowly rotate the thermostat knob counter clockwise until the pilot light goes out. The thermostat can now be left at this setting. As soon as the room temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the unit will switch itself on automatically until the set temperature has been reached again. This way, the room temperature remains constant with the most economical use of electricity.
- If you want to change the room temperature setting, rotate the thermostat knob clockwise to raise the temperature, or counter clockwise to lower it.
- This radiator includes an overheat protection system that shuts off the radiator when parts of the radiator get excessively hot.
- To completely shut the radiator off, turn all the controls to OFF, and remove the plug from the socket-outlet.

2.3. Maintenance
- Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet and allow the radiator to cool down before cleaning it.
- Wipe the radiator with a soft damp (not wet) cloth.
WARNING:
Do not immerse the radiator in water.
Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents and abrasives.
Do not allow the interior to get wet as this could create a hazard.
- To store away the radiator, wind the cable round bobbin and store the radiator in a clean dry place.
- In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the radiator yourself, it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock.

This product is CE marked to denote conformity with Directives 2006/95/EC (Low Voltage) and the EMC directive (2004/108/EC), as amended.

3. AFTER SALES SERVICE
KUNFT has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Costumer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
