1.1. Power Energy

Make sure the voltage of the electric network is compatible with the one of the appliance. If it does not match, consult the vendor or Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not roll up or pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, and do not use to twine the appliance. Keep the cord far from warm surfaces.

2.2. Assembly

2.2.1. Base Assembly

  1. First, loosen and remove the four screws from the bars. Then cross bar A (17) and bar B (18) so that they interlock.
  2. Be sure to align the four holes in the bars with those on the flange of the outer tube (14). Secure the flange to the bars with the four screws.
  3. Loosen and remove the height adjustment collar (13) from the top of the inner tube (12). Slide the base decorative cap (15) down over the assembly.
  4. Replace the height adjustment collar (13) on top of the inner tube (12). Pull the inner tube (12) out from the outer tube (14) to adjust the tube to the desired height and tighten the collar.

If necessary, slightly loosen the set screw (11) by turning it anticlockwise. Slide the switch box (10) down over the inner tube (12) and tighten the set screw (11). Make sure the set screw (11) is tightly secured.

2.2.2. Blade and Grill Assembly

  1. Unscrew the plastic mounting nut (4) from the front of the motor housing (8) by rotating it anticlockwise.
  2. Position the rear grill (5) against the front of the motor housing (8) with the handle uppermost, ensuring that the locating pegs on the motor housing (8) are engaged correctly in the holes of the rear grill (5).
  3. Tighten the rear grill mounting nut (4) clockwise. Do not over tighten it.
  4. Push the fan blade (3) on to the motor shaft (6), locating the slot at the back of the blade on the drive pin that passes through the motor shaft (6).
  5. Tighten the blade cap (2) by turning it anticlockwise.
  6. Position the front grill (1) against the rear grill (5) so that the holes in the rims that accept the small nut and bolt are in line. Insert the bolt through the holes and screw on the nut. Do not fully tighten at the stag.
  7. Push the grill retaining clips into position ensuring that they engage correctly on the rim of the grill.
  8. Fully tighten the small nut and bolt that passes through the rim of the grill.

2.3. Operating Instructions

  1. Place your fan on a level and dry surface.
  2. Plug the fan into the mains socket. Select the desired speed setting. There are 4 speed settings:
    0 - The fan is switched off.
    1 - The fan operates at the lowest speed.
    2 - The fan operates at medium speed.
    3 - The fan operates at high speed.
  3. The fan can be set to oscillate by pushing the oscillating knob downwards. To stop the oscillating feature, pull up the oscillation knob.
  4. To adjust the tilt angle of the fan head, loosen the neck screw, swivel the fan to the desired angle and then re-tighten the screw. Caution: The fan should always be switched off when performing this adjustment.

KUNFT has designed this appliance in order to guarantee the maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs, by following the procedures suggested in this section you may be able to determine its cause.

Do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock.
