Safety

  • Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
  • Great care should be exercised when handling and cleaning the blade and the beaker. The blade is very sharp.

  • The product must not be used by children. Ensure that the product and its mains lead are kept out of children's reach.
  • The product must only be used with the included motor unit.
  • Note: Ensure that the product is switched off before the bowl is removed from the motor unit.
  • Wash the beaker, cutter blade, other chopping attachments and lid with warm soapy water.

The lid is used both to protect the bottom of the bowl and as a lid if food is kept in the bowl after chopping.

Instructions for use

The blender

The blender is ideally suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups, baby food, milkshakes, etc. Blend for max 1 min at a time, then let the motor cool before blending again.

  1. Align the arrow on the blending leg up with the open padlock symbol on the motor unit.
  2. Twist the blending leg so that the arrow lines up with the locked padlock symbol.
  3. Lower the blending leg into the beaker. Switch the blender on by pressing [I] or [II]. Release the button to stop blending.
  4. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket.

The chopper

The chopper is suitable for meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, carrots, nuts, etc. Avoid chopping extremely hard foodstuffs such as coffee beans or ice. Chop for max 15 sec, then let the motor cool before chopping again.

The chopping blade is very sharp, hold it only by plastic part.

  1. Fit the chopping blade onto the mount in the bowl.
  2. Place the food to be chopped into the bowl. Refer to the food quantity table to prevent overloading the blender.
  3. Put the lid on.
  4. Insert the motor unit into the lid and twist so that the arrow lines up with the locked padlock symbol.
  5. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket. Start the chopper by pressing [I] or [II].
  6. Release the button to stop chopping.
  7. Unplug the mains lead and detach the motor unit from the lid.
  8. Carefully remove the chopping blade.
  9. Empty the chopped ingredients out of the bowl.

The balloon whisk

Only use the balloon whisk to whip cream, eggs and other runny ingredients. Whisk for max 2 min, then let the motor cool before whisking again.

  1. Push the balloon whisk into the holder.
  2. Align the arrow on the holder up with the open padlock symbol on the motor unit.
  3. Twist the holder so that the arrow lines up with the locked padlock symbol.
  4. Start whisking by pressing [I] or [II]. Release the button to stop whisking.
  5. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket.

Care and maintenance

The hand blender blade and the chopping blade are extremely sharp. Take care not to cut yourself.

• Always unplug the product from the wall socket before cleaning.
- Clean the motor unit, the chopping bowl lid and the balloon whisk holder with a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals. Never immerse the motor unit in water. The chopping bowl, container, balloon whisk, chopping blade and blender are dishwasher safe.

Let the blender dry by placing it upside down so that the water can drain off after washing.

- Strongly coloured foodstuffs may discolour plastic parts. Coat these parts with a thin layer of vegetable oil before washing them in a dishwasher.
