General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will result in cancellation of the guarantee and could cause accidents.
Do not keep the power cording hanging from the table or the shelf. Keep it away from hot sources. Do not allow sharp or blunt objects to touch it. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if you notice unusual operation of the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it. Pull the plug, not the power cord.

Operation
The appliance works by using its 6-position knob. It is possible to set the knob position between two numbers.

NOTE: These are only approximate guidelines. The intervals may vary depending on the cookware used such as pans or pots, as well as on the ingredients to be cooked.
The LED indicator will go off once the desired temperature has been reached. The coo-king surface will turn on and off cyclically to keep the selected temperature. The LED light indicates if the surface is ON or OFF.

CAUTION: Even if the LED indicator is OFF, the appliance may stay hot.
Tips
Use only suitable pots and pans. It is recommended to use smooth-bottomed utensils to transfer heat evenly.
The dimensions of the pan or frying pan should match the diameter of the plate. Do not use cookware with a base diameter larger than that of the plate.
The plate is equipped with a thermostat that prevents overheating. In any case, you should always turn the appliance off after use.
During cooking, you can turn the appliance off or reduce the power to save energy. The plate will remain hot for several minutes, which can help you to finish cooking. As a general rule, you should not use the appliance for cooking for more than one hour at a time. If you wish to continue cooking, please switch off the appliance; wait until it cools down and then switch it on again.
Cleaning
The device must be cleaned regularly. Always remove any food residue from it.
Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance has cooled down completely after use.
Check that the appliance is completely disconnected from the mains. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Use only a slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
Never use abrasive detergents or metal brushes to clean any part of the appliance.
