How do I set the timer on my Grunkel EHP-115 cooker?

To set the timer, press the Timer button, use the +/- knobs to set desired time, and press Start. The oven will turn off automatically when time expires.

What should I do if the oven doesn't heat up?

Check power supply, ensure the thermostat is set correctly, and verify that the oven function selector is not at Off. If still not heating, contact service.

How do I clean the hob burners?

Remove burner caps and heads, wash with warm soapy water, and dry thoroughly. Ensure the gas holes are not clogged. Reassemble after cleaning.

Can I use the grill and oven simultaneously?

Yes, the grill and oven can be used at the same time, but the total power may be limited. Refer to the manual for recommended settings.

How do I replace the oven light bulb?

Disconnect the cooker from power, remove the glass cover by turning it counterclockwise, replace with a 25W/300°C bulb, and reassemble.

What does the child lock do?

The child lock prevents accidental operation of the hob controls. Activate by pressing the Lock button for 3 seconds. Deactivate similarly.

Why is the gas flame uneven?

Uneven flame may be due to clogged burner ports. Clean the burner head with a needle or brush. Ensure the burner cap is correctly positioned.

How do I self-clean the oven?

This model does not have a self-cleaning function. Use the Enamel interior: wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

● How to use the product

The cooker should be connected to a well unit of 230V or Volt (like show the product) that conforms with the official regulations.

The cooking plates have been equipped with a 6-step switch. The numbers and intermittent points on the rotary controls show the specific way to operate it.

OFF

1=For simmering delicate foods and thickening sauces etc.

2=Slow cooking

3=For simmering large quantities.

4=Shallow frying of meat and pan dishes

5=To bring all dishes to rapid meat

Note: The LED light will go off when the hot plate reaches the selected temperature and will cycles and off to maintain the temperature. These indications are only approximate. The individual steps on the switch may vary for different pots and pans, and also because of what you cook.

● BEFORE YOU USE IT FOR THE FIRST TIME

Only use suitable pots and pans

Pots and pans should have flat bottoms in order to transfer heat steadily and to obtain the exact specifications indicated for the temperature controls. The dimension of the pan and the plate should be identical.

This is the right pan. It has a flat Bottom and absorbs the heat of the cooking plate very well

This pan is too small and does not cover the edges, resulting in heat loss.

This pan is not suitable.

This transfer of heat between the cooking plate and the pan is poor.

● HOW TO OPERATE IT

Cover ought to fit tightly on the respective pot or pan so that no steam can escape

The cooking plate is equipped with a thermostat, which prevents overheating. You should nevertheless always switch off the unit in good time.

Switch the unit off or to a lower level in good time in order to save energy. The cooking plate still will emit intensive heat for a few minutes, which you may use to complete the cooking process.

But the cooking time shall be less than 1 hour

- Only use the cooking plates in enclosed spaces
- Never immerse the unit in water.
- Do not use the unit if the cable is damaged or if the cooking plate crack
- Please avoid that the cable gets into contact with the cooking plate.
- Only use the cooking plate on firm and horizontal surfaces. Please avoid using on flammable base (such as covers, plastic materials and the like)
