Frequently Asked Questions - WA 1702 ADE

How do I set the temperature on my ADE WA 1702 wine cellar?
Use the temperature control dial inside the cellar. Turn it to the desired temperature between 5°C and 18°C. Allow 24 hours to stabilize before loading bottles.
What does the lock on the wine cellar do?
The lock secures the door to prevent unauthorized access. Use the included key to lock or unlock it.
How often should I clean the wine cellar?
Clean the interior every 2-3 months with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Wipe the door seal regularly.
Why is my wine cellar making a loud noise?
Noise up to 39 dB is normal from the compressor. Check if the unit is level; adjust the feet. Ensure there is clearance around the cellar.
What should I do if the wine cellar does not cool?
First, check the power connection and thermostat setting. Ensure vents are not blocked. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
Can I store both red and white wine in the same cellar?
Yes, the temperature range allows storing both. For optimal results, store reds at 12-18°C and whites at 5-12°C. Use the adjustable shelves.
How long should I wait after moving the wine cellar before plugging it in?
Wait at least 24 hours after moving to allow the refrigerant to settle. This prevents damage to the compressor.
Are there any energy saving tips for the WA 1702?
Keep the door closed as much as possible. Avoid placing the cellar near heat sources. Defrost manually when frost builds up.
Can I reverse the door opening direction?
Yes, the door is reversible. Follow the instructions in the manual to change the hinge side. Requires basic tools.
What is the warranty period for the ADE WA 1702?
The standard warranty is 2 years from date of purchase. Keep your receipt for service claims.
