Designated use
The device is designed for private use.
The work lamp is not designated for commercial use in motor vehicle workshops or other workshops, etc.
This car cigarette lighter adapter is only suitable for use in motor vehicles provided with a battery voltage of 12 V.
It is not designed for trucks, boats or similar with a battery voltage of 24 volts.

The lamp must not be used in an environment that is subject to a fire and explosion hazard.
- The light is very bright. Never look directly into it at close range and do not shine it into the eyes of people or animals.
- Protect the work lamp from intense heat, cold and strong vibrations and impact.
Cordless LED Workshop Lamp Safety instructions
- In order to avoid damage to surfaces, do not slide the work lamp over the surface to which it is adhered.
- Do not clean the appliance with harsh, scratching or abrasive detergents. The surfaces could otherwise be damaged.
With use in motor vehicles
- The work lamp and the charging cable must not endanger the driver and
passengers. The lamp must always be stored and fastened, so that it also does not create an injury hazard when braking suddenly.
- While driving, all vehicle parts (pedals, steering wheel, etc.) must be capable of being operated by the driver with ease and without any restriction.
- You must not operate the lamp while you are actively driving in traffic and e.g. are turning a steering wheel. Risk of glare!
Hazard from electricity
- Only touch the device with dry hands!
- Use power supply and Lamp only in dry interior rooms.
- The device must not be exposed to dripping or spray water.

The work lamp and power supply unit must not be immersed in water or other liquids.

Electrical shock hazard! Therefore, also do not use the appliance in the vicinity of moisture sources, e.g. in the bathroom.
- If the appliance should fall into water or another liquid, first disconnect the power plug and then remove the appliance!
- Only connect the power supply unit to a properly installed socket, with voltage corresponding to the “technical data”.

- When using an adapter plug or extension cord, these must comply with the valid safety regulations. The specified maximum voltage must not be exceeded.
- Ensure that the socket is easily-accessible, so that you can remove the power supply unit, if necessary.

Lay the power cable to that it does not become a trip hazard.

Do not use the lamp:
- if it is damaged,
- if the charging cable is damaged,
- the power supply unit or car cigarette lighter adapter is damaged.
- Unwind the charging cable completely prior to use. In doing so, ensure that the charging cable is not trapped, squeezed or damaged by sharp edges or hot items.
- Disconnect the power supply unit from the socket:
- if you are not charging the appliance,
- after each use,
– before cleaning or putting the appliance away, - if an obvious fault occurs during operation,
- in a thunder storm.
Always pull on the power supply unit, not on the cable.
- Do not carry or pull the device using the electric cables.
- Do not make any changes to the work lamp, to the power supply unit/cable or on the cigarette lighter adapter.
- Never attempt to open the device or penetrate it with metal objects. Rechargeable batteries and LEDs are not replaceable by operator.
- The workshop lamp and connecting lines can't be repaired or replaced, the workshop lamp has to be disposed accordingly in case of a damage.

- If the power supply unit or charging cable is damaged, it must no longer be used and must be replaced by the same type of power supply unit.
Fire hazard
- Do not leave the work lamp unattended when it is being charged.
- Keep the work lamp away from fl ammable materials.
- Do not cover the work lamp or the power supply unit with items.
- A rechargeable battery that has been removed for disposal must not be damaged. Fire hazard from self-combustion!
Risk of property damage
- Do not use the work lamp for longer than 3 hours. As soon as the brightness of the LEDs has noticeably declined, the work lamp must be charged.

discharge of the rechargeable battery. This can cause the rechargeable battery to be irrecoverably destroyed.
- Also always ensure that you switch off the work lamp.
- Charge the work lamp prior to longer periods of disuse.
Warnings and safety information for the use of products with lithium-ion batteries
The rechargeable batteries in the lamp cannot be exchanged or replaced. They are also not permitted to be used for operating other devices, or recharged through other devices.

- The light may only be charged with the power supply unit supplied or with the car cigarette lighter adapter.
- The device may only be charged under supervision.

Lithium-ion batteries are mechanically sensitive. They can ignite due to an internal short circuit and when coming into contact with air.
- A damaged lithium-ion battery, e.g. because the light is damaged, can ignite 30 or more minutes later.
- Lithium-ion batteries must never be short circuited. A battery removed for disposal can ignite due to a short circuit.

Disposal
- Also dispose of the packaging materials properly and in an environmentally sound manner. These are raw materials and can be recycled.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries are not permitted to be disposed of with household waste!
- Every consumer is legally obligated to submit batteries and rechargeable
batteries to the collection centre of his local municipality, district or to retailers. All batteries and rechargeable batteries can thereby be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
If the device can no longer be used, submit it to a collection centre for electrical and electronic waste.

Damaged rechargeable batteries must be disposed of in accordance with the valid regulations and ordinances.
- Keep removed batteries away from children, do not throw into fire, short circuit or dismantle.
- If battery liquid has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. When coming into contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of clean water and immediately contact a physician.

Recharge battery
Do not leave the work lamp unattended when it is being charged.
The rechargeable battery takes around 6 hours to charge. Switch off the work lamp while it is charging.

- Remove the rubber lip 4 from the socket 5.
- Connect power supply connector or car cigarette lighter adapter to socket 5.
- Connect the power supply unit to a properly installed socket or the car cigarette lighter adapt to a live (turn ignition key to Pos. I if necessary) cigarette lighter adapter in a car.
Cordless LED Workshop Lamp Use
- The LED 7 illuminates red during the charging process. As soon as the charging process has ended, the LED illuminates green.
The rechargeable battery is protected from overloading by the electronics. Disconnect the work lamp from the power supply as soon as the LED 7 illuminates green. It is possible to recharge the battery at any time.

An empty battery charges in approx. 6 hours.
Information regarding the car cigarette lighter adapter
If charging with the car cigarette lighter adapter does not function, but the work lamp can be charged using the power supply unit, it is possible that the installed fuse has blown. Replace this as described below.
Fire hazard! Never bridge a defective fuse and only replace it with a fuse of the same type. Check the cable of the car cigarette lighter adapter for damage; replace the car cigarette lighter adapter, if necessary.
- Unscrew the ring on the adapter anti-clockwise.
- Replace the defective fuse with a new one of the type F0.5AL250V (0.5 A, 250 V, fl ink).

Use
- Turn the coloured ring with the inserted metal cap clockwise to tighten.
Switching on and off
- Press the on/off-switch 6 to switch on the work light.
- Press the on/off-switch 6 again to switch off the work light.
In order to avoid glare from the work lamp, turn the work lamp to the side with the on/off switch 6 when you pull it apart.
The LEDs can be switched on during the charging process.

- The workshop lamp can be positioned using the magnet 9 on a magnetic surface or hung up by the hook.

In order to avoid damage to surfaces, do not slide the work lamp over the surface to which it is adhered. If necessary, place a rag, a piece of film or paper on the surface.
Cleaning
CAUTION! Prior to any cleaning, ensure that you disconnect the power supply unit from the socket/the car cigarette lighter adapter from the socket of the motor vehicle.

Cordless LED Workshop Lamp Cleaning
Do not use any corrosive, aggressive or abrasive detergents in order to avoid damaging the surfaces.
Only use a well wrung-out, slightly dampened cloth with some dishwashing detergent for cleaning the work lamp, the power supply unit and the car cigarette lighter adapter.

Prior to removing the rechargeable battery, disconnect the work lamp from the power supply and completely discharge the battery! After removing the battery, the work lamp is destroyed and cannot be repaired.
Ensure that you wear safety glasses and safety gloves in order to avoid injuries to the eyes from splinters or cut injuries on the hands.
