Frequently Asked Questions - ACP-42CC120AERI Vivax

How do I install the ACP-42CC120AERI air conditioner?
The unit comes with a window installation kit. Follow the detailed instructions in the manual: attach the exhaust hose to the back of the unit, mount the window panel in the open window, and secure the hose in the panel. Ensure the unit is level and the window is closed tightly.
What does the error code E1 mean on my Vivax air conditioner?
Error code E1 typically indicates a room temperature sensor failure. Turn off the unit, unplug it for 5 minutes, then restart. If the error persists, contact customer support.
How often should I clean the air filter?
Clean the washable air filter every two weeks under normal use. More frequent cleaning may be needed in dusty environments. Remove the filter from the back of the unit, wash with warm water and mild detergent, dry completely, and reinstall.
Can I use an extension cord with this air conditioner?
It is recommended to plug the unit directly into a grounded outlet. Extension cords may cause voltage drop and overheating. If an extension cord is necessary, use a heavy-duty cord rated for at least 15 amps.
What is the proper way to store the unit during winter?
Drain any remaining water from the unit. Clean the filter and dry the interior. Store the unit upright in a dry, temperature-controlled area. Cover it to protect from dust.
Why is my air conditioner not cooling properly?
Check if the filter is dirty, the exhaust hose is blocked or kinked, the unit is in a room that is too large, or the set temperature is too high. Ensure all windows and doors are closed.
How do I use the timer function?
Press the Timer button on the remote control. Use the + and - buttons to set the desired time for the unit to turn on or off automatically. The timer can be set up to 24 hours.
Is the ACP-42CC120AERI a heat pump?
Yes, this model provides both cooling and heating functions. It can reverse cycle to provide warm air, making it suitable for year-round use.
The remote control is not working. What should I do?
Replace the batteries with new CR2025 ones. Point the remote directly at the unit. Remove any obstacles. If still not working, use the control panel on the unit itself.
What does the dry mode do?
Dry mode reduces humidity in the room without significantly lowering the temperature. The fan runs at low speed and the compressor cycles on and off. Use it in damp conditions.

7. SLEDEĆI SIMPTOMI NISU PROBLEM U RADU KLIMA UREĐAJA

1. simptom: Sistem ne radi

■ Klima uređaj ne počinje da radi odmah pošto je pritisnut taster ON/OFF na daljinskom upravljaču.

7. FOLLOWING SYMPTOMS ARE NOT AIR CONDITIONER TROUBLES

Symptom 1: The system does not operate

■ The air conditioner does not start immediately after the ON/OFF button on the remote controller is pressed. If the operation lamp lights, the system is in normal condition. To prevent overloading of the compressor motor, the air conditioner starts 3 minutes after it is turned ON.
