1. IMPORTANT WARNINGS

Basic safety precautions must be complied with while using an electrical appliance.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

  • The device must be used in accordance with the instructions given in the user's manual. Incorrect or faulty uses might cause injuries.
  • Do not leave your appliance as plugged in. Unplug it when not in use and when it requires servicing. While unplugging, use the head of the plug instead of its cord and allow your appliance to cool down.

Appliance Description

Electric Coffee Maker can be used for making coffee or boiling water.

Caution!

Do not put milk in coffee maker. If you boil milk in it, this leaves a brown-black layer on the heater, which can only be removed by using a hand scourer. This may damage the product. Therefore, it is not recommended to boil milk in the coffee maker.

3 USE OF APPLIANCE

Electric Coffee Maker can be used to make maximum 4 cups of coffee.

  • Add water, coffee and sugar in the coffee maker as the number of cups (maximum 4 cups) preferred.
  • Plug the appliance in a grounded socket.
  • Turn the On/Off button to "I" (On) position.
  • Mix the mixture for a short period.
  • When the coffee boils, turn the On/Off button to "O" (Off) position.
    • Pour the coffee into cups.

Note: If the socket is grounded, a metal spoon can be used.

Boiling Water

You will need hot water to prepare granule coffee, teabag, linden tea, rose hip tea, fruit herbal and herbal teas.

  • In order to get hot water, add water into coffee maker as much as you need (maximum 4 cups), but be careful not to over ow.
  • Plug the appliance in a grounded socket.
  • Turn the On/Off button to "I" (On) position.
  • When the water boils, turn the On/Off button to "O" (Off) position.
  • Now you can use your hot water as you wish.

4 MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND USE

  • Never try to open and repair your appliance when it does not work.
  • Please do not operate the appliance in case of a break or crack when it falls or hits to a hard object. Contact the authorized service.
  • Do not change the damaged cable or plug, contact the authorized service.
  • Do not carry the appliance by holding its cable.
  • Unplug the appliance by pulling out from the socket, not the power cord.
  • Unplug the appliance when not in use.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning the appliance, turn the On/Off button to "O" (Off) position, unplug it and wait until your appliance cools down.
  • Clean the inside of the coffee maker with soft sponge and detergent, then rinse it with water. Do not use abrasive or similar objects to clean the heater of the coffee maker.
  • Use a dry or damp towel to clean the outside of the coffee maker. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners to clean the outer surface of the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the appliance into water.

Do not put the appliance in washing machine.

Descaling:

You can use a descaler without toxicant to remove limescale buildup that may occur in time.

Alternative:

Put three cups of vinegar into the appliance, Fill the rest with water and leave it overnight. Do not boil it! Empty the solution. You can use a damp towel to clean the residues that may remain inside it. After cleaning, Fill the appliance with water, boil it once and empty it. Your appliance is ready to use.

Warning! Cleaning and maintenance operations should not be done by children without supervision.

6. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EFFICIENT USE AND ENERGY SAVING

  • Unplug your appliance when not in use.
  • Limescale and residues in your appliance adversely affects efficiency of the appliance. This causes more electricity consumption. The limescale and residues in the appliance must be cleaned often.

The appliance should be transported in its original box and partitions or as wrapped with a soft cloth.
