Can I cut the LED strip to a shorter length?

No, the LED strip is not designed to be cut. The LEDs are non-replaceable and cutting may damage the product. Use the provided end cap for the free end.

Is the LED strip dimmable?

No, the product is not dimmable. It features a simple on/off switch on the cable. It cannot be used with a dimmer.

How many LED strips can I connect together?

You can connect up to two LED strips in series using the included connection leads. Do not exceed this to avoid overloading.

What does IP20 mean?

IP20 means the product is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm (like fingers) but not against water. It is suitable for indoor use only, away from moisture.

Can I use this LED strip outdoors?

No, the product is intended for indoor use only. The IP20 rating provides no water protection, so outdoor use would cause damage and safety hazards.

How do I clean the LED strip?

First, unplug the mains adapter. Then use a dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the strip. Do not use solvents, petrol, or water.

What should I do if the LEDs stop working?

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!

Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operating voltage for the product (100-240V\~).
Before connecting to the mains, always check the product for any damage.
■ Never use the product if you find damage of any kind.
The connection lead cannot be repaired! If the connection lead is damaged, the product must be taken out of use and disposed of in the proper way.
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of object into them.
■ Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
■ Always remove the mains adaptor from the socket before installing, dismantling or cleaning.
■ Never touch the mains adaptor or the product with moist or wet hands.
■ Only connect the lightstrip to mains adaptor.

■ Ensure that no more than 2 den-unit lights of the same type are connected together in series.
■ Use the product with only the components described in these operating instructions.
■ Disconnect the product from the mains if you intend not to use it for an extended period (e.g. holiday).
■ LED lightstrip should only be replaced with the same type of lightstrip which is supplied with this product.
■ The product is only suited for use with the included SELV adapter.
Please note that the mains adaptor continues to draw a small amount of power even if the product is turned off as long as the mains adaptor is plugged into a power outlet. To switch the product off completely, unplug the mains adaptor from the socket.
■ LED driver cannot be replaced.
■ The LEDs are not replaceable.
If the LEDs fail at end of their lives, the product must be replaced.

●Safety advice for installation

The product can be mounted with the supplied fastening clips on to all surfaces officially classified as being of "normal flammability".

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Ensure

that you do not strike any electrical cables, gas or water pipes in the vicinity of where you are drilling. If necessary, check the area using a suitable detector before you drill.

Before installation, check whether the substrate is suitable for the fastening clips and can support the weight of the product. If you are unsure about any aspects of this step, please seek the advice of an electrical equipment specialist.
- Do not use any sharp and / or pointed objects, such as wire, nails or clamps, to fasten the product in place.
- Avoid bending the product. Otherwise the insulation could be damaged.

- Installation

The LED lightstrip 1 can be connected using a connection lead 2 (Fig. B) or without a connection lead (Fig. C).

- Mounting the product on a cupboard

Note: Thoroughly clean the surface on to which you intend to install the product. The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Otherwise

the self-adhesive tape 9 may not stick properly.

1. Using a pencil, mark the position on the cupboard, shelf or cabinet on to which you intend to attach the LED lightstrip 1. If necessary, use a spirit level as a guide.
2. Stick the double-sided adhesive tape 9 onto the LED lightstrip 1. Then pull the paper from the self- adhesive tape 9 on the back of the LED lightstrip 1.
3. Position the self-adhesive tape 9 on the markings and press to fix it firmly into place (Fig. D).
4. Connect the lightstrip 1 with mains adapter 8 by using one of the below methods.
5. Connect with the other LED lightstrip 1 (Fig. C) directly or by using connection lead 2 when needed (Fig. B).
6. Connect the end cap 11 to the end of the lightstrip 1 (Fig. H).
7. Insert the cable clip 10 to the cable, pull the paper of adhesive pads which behind the clip and press to fix it firmly onto the cupboard (Fig. H).

Method 1:

Drill a hole across the cupboard: ∅ approx. 22 mm.
☐ Put the connector 6 and in-line switch 7 through the drilled hole and connect to the lightstrip 1 (Fig. H).

☐ The mains adapter 8 is located behind the cupboard (Fig. H).

Method 2:

☐ Connect the lightstrip 1 with mains adapter 8 by using connector 6 directly (Fig. F).

●Mountingthe product on a wall

1. Drill the fastening holes (Fig. E).

CAUTION! Ensure that you do not damage any cables in the wall.

1. Insert the dowels 4 into the drilled holes (Fig. E).

2. Fix the fastening clips 3 to the wall with the screws 5.

3. Insert the lightstrip 1 into the fastening clip 3.

4. Connect with the other LED lightstrip 1 directly or by using connection lead 2 when needed (Fig. B).

5. Connect the end cap 11 to the end of the lightstrip 1 (Fig. H).

6. Insert the cable clip 10 to the cable and press to fix it firmly onto the wall (Fig. H).

7. Connect the lightstrip 1 with mains adapter 8 by using connector 6 directly (Fig. F).

Operation

☐ Insert the mains adapter 8 into the mains socket.
☐ Press the "1" on the in-line switch ☐ 7 to switch on the product.
☐ Press the other side of the in-line switch 7 to switch off the product.

- Cleaning and care

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

First remove the mains

adaptor from the socket.

• Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the product.
  ☐ Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

●Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation,

which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22:

paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it

separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to

dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly

when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

●Warranty and service

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.

Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.

The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
