They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. This product is only suitable for private use in dry indoor locations, e.g. in workshops or garages. The product withstand extreme physical conditions of vibration (1.0 m ^2 / s ^3 200–2000 Hz). The product is not intended for commercial use or for use in other applications. For indoor use only!

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. Always keep children away from the packaging material.
This product may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or those lacking experience and / or knowledge provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and they understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.
This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Children are not aware of the dangers associated with handling electrical products.
- Do not use the product if you detect any type of damage.
■ Protect the product from moisture and humidity. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids!
Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the product yourself. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
■ The Illuminants are not replaceable.
If the Illuminants fail at the end of their lifes, the entire product must be replaced.
■ Dispose of the product when the product, the USB cable 8 are damaged.
■ Ensure the USB cable 8 cannot become damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind the USB cable 8 completely before use.
■ Protect the product from extreme heat and cold.
■ The USB cable 8 provided is only suitable for use with the product.
■ LEDs are very bright, therefore do not look directly into the product.

Safety instructions for batteries/rechargeable batteries
■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/re-chargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION!

Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries and/or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
■ Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries
- Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!

Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause
burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
This product has a built-in rechargeable battery which cannot be replaced by the user. The removal or replacement of the rechargeable
battery may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. When disposing of the product, it should be noted that this product contains a rechargeable battery.
●Beforeuse
- Charging the product
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.
Note: You can recharge the product by using the USB cable 8 provided with the specified input voltage and current (see "Technical data").
Note: In order to use the product without a USB cable 8, you need to recharge the rechargeable battery before use. The charging process takes about 3 to 4 hours.
☐ Insert the Micro USB plug of the USB cable 8 into micro-USB input socket 6 of the product.
☐ Then insert the USB plug of the USB cable into the USB port on USB power supply.
Note: Pay attention to the distance between the lamp and USB power supply because USB cable 8 length is approx. 50 cm.
Note: During charging, the charging indicator 7 lights up red. When charging is complete, the charging indicator 7 lights up green. When the charging indicator 7 is green, pull out the USB cable 8 from the micro-USB input socket 6 of the product to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.
- Fixing the product
The product can be used in 2 ways without having to hold it in your hand:
☐ Fold out the hook 5 to suspend the product from a suitable suspension point.
☐ Fold out the stands 4 to let the product able to stand on the ground (see Fig. B).
CAUTION! Please note the position of your hands whilst opening and closing the stands 4 to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. C).
- Using the product without a power connection
□ Fully charge the product as described in the section "Charging the product".
☐ The product can be operated in 4 different modes, select these by repeatedly pressing the ON/OFF switch 3.

presence: The side light lights up at low power.

press twice: The side light lights up at full power.

press three times: Switches the side light 2 off and switches on the spotlight 1.

press four times: Switches off the product
● Maintenance and cleaning
The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
■ Switch off the product and disconnect from the USB power supply before cleaning.
■ Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
■ Never use caustic cleaners.
☐ Regularly clean the product with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.
●Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibre-board/80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
- Warranty
The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
- Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 123456_7890) available as proof of purchase.
You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the appliance.
If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
