Frequently Asked Questions - DSE 125 EINHELL

What is the maximum operating pressure for the Einhell DSE 125 sander?
The maximum working pressure is 6.3 bar. Never exceed this value to avoid equipment damage.
How do I change the sanding paper on the DSE 125?
The sander uses a hook-and-loop (Velcro) system. Simply peel off the old paper and press the new one onto the plate, ensuring the vacuum holes align.
How often should I lubricate the tool?
Lubricate before each use and during prolonged operation. Apply 3-6 drops of special compressed-air oil into the air connection and let the tool run briefly to blow out excess oil.
Can I use the DSE 125 for wet sanding?
No, the sander is not suitable for wet sanding. It is designed for dry sanding of wood, iron, plastic, and similar materials.
What safety equipment is required when using this sander?
Always wear ear-muffs, a breathing mask, and safety goggles. The tool produces high noise levels and dust that can be harmful.
How do I adjust the sanding speed?
Use the control lever on the tool. Moving the lever toward the dust extractor adapter gives maximum speed; moving it away reduces speed.
Does the DSE 125 come with a dust extraction system?
It includes a dust extractor adapter but requires an external dust extraction system (e.g., vacuum) to be connected for effective dust collection.
What is the vibration emission level of the sander?
The vibration emission value (ah) is 9.1 m/s² with an uncertainty K of 1.5 m/s², measured per EN ISO 28927-3.
What is covered under the warranty?
The tool has a 24-month warranty on material and construction defects. Wear parts like the sanding plate are covered for 6 months, and consumables (abrasive paper) only for immediate defects within 24 hours.
How should I store the sander when not in use?
Store in a dark, dry place at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C, out of children’s reach. Keep it in its original packaging if possible.
