Note: This appliance is capable of continuous charging. To maintain peak performance of the battery it is recommended to charge the battery for about 24 hours before first use or when used again after a long time.

Caution!

  • Before charging: Make sure to switch the appliance off.
  • Only charge the appliance using the provided power adaptor (9)!
  • Do not start the appliance when it is being charged.

  • Place the handle (3) in the power adaptor (9). Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet. The charging indicator ■ lights up (fig. 1).
    • After charging: A fully charged brush provides an operation time of about 40 minutes.

  • For everyday use: The handle (3) can be stored on the plugged-in power adaptor (9) to maintain the toothbrush at full power.
  • Maintaining peak capacity of rechargeable battery: Unplug the power adaptor (9) and let the handle (3) by regular use discharge at least every 3 months.

• Mounting brush head: Mount the brush head (1) onto the drive shaft (2) of the handle (3) (fig. 2).
- Fixing of the brush head: Turn the brush head (1) from setting I to setting II. The brush head is now fixed to the drive shaft (2).
- Removing brush head: Reverse the operations.

OPERATION

  • Apply toothpaste to the brush head (1).
  • Guide the brush head (1) to teeth before switching the appliance on, to avoid splashing.
  • Press the on/off switch (4) to enter desired mode (fig. 3).

- Slowly guide the brush head (1) from tooth to tooth, spending a few seconds on each tooth surface (fig. 4).

- Brush the gums as well as the teeth. First the outsides, then the inside and finally the chewing surfaces (fig. 5).

  • Do not press too hard or scrub, simply let the brush do all the work.
  • One brushing cycle lasts about 2 minutes with four 30 second intervals. After that, the appliance switches off automatically.
  • During the first days of using this appliance, your gums may bleed slightly. In general, bleeding should stop after a few days. Should it persist, please consult your dentist or hygienist.

    • After use, switch on the appliance and rinse the brush head (1) under running water (Fig. 6).
  • Switch off the appliance and remove the brush head (1).
  • Rinse the brush head (1) and handle (3) separately under running water (Fig. 7).

  • Put back the brush head (1) on the handle (3).
    • Occasionally clean the power adaptor (9) with a soft damp cloth.
  • If the appliance is not in used for an extended period, unplug it and store all parts in its packaging box.
