Frequently Asked Questions - HNK147 INVENTUM

How to wash the HNK147 heated blanket?
First remove the inner cushion (do not wash it). The cover with integrated heating pad is machine washable at 30°C, delicate cycle, with a delicate laundry detergent. Do not wash it more than 10 times during its lifespan. Do not use bleach, fabric softener, or dry cleaning. After washing, stretch it while damp and let it dry flat out of the sun.
Can I use the heated blanket if I have a pacemaker?
The electric and magnetic fields of the blanket are below safety limits (5000 V/m, 80 A/m, 0.1 mT). However, as a precaution, please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before use.
How long does the heated blanket stay on?
The blanket has an automatic shut-off after approximately 90 minutes of use. The temperature level indicator then flashes. To turn it back on, set the switch to '0' (off), wait 5 seconds, then select the desired level again.
What temperature levels are available?
There are 3 levels: 1 (minimum heat), 2 (medium heat), 3 (maximum heat). Rapid heating is active during the first 10 minutes, especially at level 3.
What to do if the lights do not turn on?
Check that the switch is properly connected to the heating pad and that the plug is plugged into a working socket. If the switch is set to 1, 2, or 3 and the lights remain off, the ISS safety system has irreversibly disabled the blanket. Contact customer service for a replacement.
Can I use the heated blanket for a child?
The blanket should not be used by children aged 0 to 3 years. For ages 3-8, it can only be used if a parent has set the switch and the child has been informed of safety instructions. Children over 8 can use it under supervision.
How to clean the switch?
The switch must never come into contact with water or liquids. Clean it with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive products or detergents.
Is the heated blanket machine washable?
Yes, the cover with integrated heating pad is machine washable on a very gentle cycle at 30°C (wool cycle). Use a delicate laundry detergent. Do not wash it more than 10 times. The inner cushion is not washable.
What does the ISS safety system mean?
ISS (Inventum Safety System) is an electronic detection system that automatically shuts off the blanket in case of overheating or failure. If the system activates, the blanket can no longer be used and must be returned to customer service.
How to store the heated blanket in summer?
Store it in its original packaging, after unplugging the switch. Let it cool down completely, then fold it without pressing hard. Do not place heavy objects on it to avoid damage.

Please note that, after a fault has occurred, the heating pad can no longer be used for safety reasons and must be sent to the service address indicated.

4.2 Initial use

INVENTUM HNK147 - Initial use - 1
