5. INTENDED USE

This docking station expands the USB Type-C port with 7 interfaces for connecting two monitors and several peripheral devices. The docking station is the ideal accessory for devices with few ports such as Ultrabooks. The MST function (Multi Stream Support) enables you to expand the Windows desktop, e.g. to 2 monitors simultaneously.

7. APPLICATION / USE

The InLine® 7-in-1 USB Type-C Docking Station is a simple extension of the connections on a notebook with USB Type-C socket. Commissioning is very easy: You can connect the InLine® 7-in-1 USB Type-C Docking Station to the system while the computer is running. All functions are automatically recognized and provided by the system, a driver installation is not necessary. (Specification USB 3.2 Gen 1 with DisplayPort Alternate Mode) You can now conveniently connect additional peripheral devices such as HDMI- and DisplayPort Monitor, USB printer, mouse, keyboard, USB memory stick or a network cable to the docking station as required. MST support: Under Windows you have the possibility to extend the desktop to both monitors and thus achieve a visible resolution of 1920x1080/60Hz, perfectly suited for stationary use in the office or home office. In stand-alone mode you can even reach resolutions of 4K/60Hz (3840x2160 pixels) via HDMI and DisplayPort.
