How do I replace the batteries?

To replace the batteries, open the battery compartment cover located on the handle. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) following the polarity markings indicated inside. Close the cover securely.

Can I use the massager while it is charging?

Yes, the massager can be used while connected to the AC adapter. However, we recommend using it on battery power for maximum portability.

How do I clean the massage heads?

Remove the massage heads from the unit. Wipe them with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge them in water. Allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.

Is the massager suitable for all body parts?

The massager is designed for use on most muscle groups. Avoid using on bones, joints, or sensitive areas. Consult a physician if you have health concerns.

What do the different massage heads do?

The massager comes with 4 heads: a kneading head for deep tissue, a spot head for targeted pressure, a flat head for general massage, and a fork head for spine and neck.

Why is the massager not turning on?

Check if the batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. If using the AC adapter, ensure it is plugged into a working outlet. The unit also has an auto-off feature after 15 minutes; turn it off and on again.

Can I use it on my neck?

Yes, but use caution. Apply gentle pressure and avoid direct contact with the cervical spine. Use the fork head for a safer neck massage.

How long should I use it at a time?

For best results, limit each massage session to 15 minutes. Prolonged use may cause overstimulation or muscle soreness.

Is it normal for the massager to get warm?

Yes, the unit may become warm during normal operation. If it becomes uncomfortably hot, turn it off and let it cool down. Do not cover the ventilation slots.

• Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. DO NOT use over insensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The use of heat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.

Instructions for Use

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO NOT change the plug in any way.

1. This unit is powered by and comes equipped with a UL approved cord. ALWAYS make sure the unit is set to the "OFF" position before inserting the plug into a 120-volt electrical outlet.
2. Massage: To activate Massage function, slide the bottom switch to "ON". Slide the switch forward (A) to increase massage intensity.

Massage + Heat:

Once massage function is on, press the HEAT button (B) to activate Heat NOTE: The Heat function can only be activated when the Massage function is in use.

Please Note: The heat option will only work while a massage feature is selected.

NOTE: The Heat function will only activate when using the Thermal Heat attachment. Never use the Heat Attachment if the housing is cracked or broken, or if the metal plate is loose, bent or separated from housing.

NOTE: To eliminate the risk of being burned, do not use the heat continuously for more than 15 minutes. Do not use heat or cold massage if you have sensitive skin, poor circulation, discolored areas, burned or inflamed skin, or where skin eruptions or sores are present. Heat and cold massage should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.

1. Apply massager attachment lightly to the area you wish to massage.
2. Move the unit slowly, holding on the targeted area or muscle group. Massage the area for a short period of time and move to another area. NEVER massage the same spot longer than 3 minutes. CAUTION - as stated in the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS section of this manual, NEVER use this appliance on or near eyes or other highly sensitive areas of the body.
3. Operation of longer than 15 minutes is not recommended and may cause overheating.
4. When massage is completed, turn unit off, allow to cool, unplug the power cord and store properly in a dry place.

NOTE on Cold massage attachment:

The Cold attachment should be placed in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours prior to use for optimum performance. At room temperature, the Cold attachment will stay cold for up to 15 minutes of continuous massage use. As the attachment gradually loses its frozen state over 15 minutes, gently press around the edges of the cold gel surface to circulate the colder beads against skin.

Your massager comes equipped with 9 custom massage head attachments:

To change to a different attachment, simply pull down on attachment to remove (Fig. 1) from massage shaft. To attach new massage head, align attachment groove with shaft groove (F. G, H only) and press up (Fig. 2) until attachment "clicks" into position. Only use attachments provided by Homedics.

NOTE: Only (F), Thermal Heat massage attachment can be used for Heat function.

To Clean Device

Be sure to unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe. NEVER allow water or any liquids to come into contact with the device.

To Store

Unplug the device from the outlet and allow it to cool before storing in its box or a clean, dry place. DO NOT hand the unit by the power cord.

HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer's recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect, vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair, or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
