How do I select the power level on the ZTRM1 heater?

Turn the knob clockwise. The settings are: 0 (Off), Cool air (fan only), Warm air (1000W), and Hot air (2000W).

What does the thermostat do?

The thermostat knob allows you to set the desired room temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain that temperature.

What should I do if the heater overheats?

The heater has a safety device that switches it off in case of overheating. Let it cool for about 10 minutes; it should restart automatically. If it doesn't, contact service.

How do I clean the heater?

Always unplug and allow the heater to cool completely. Clean the grills with a dry cloth. Do not use water or liquids.

Can I use an extension cord with the heater?

It is not recommended. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord rated for at least 10 amps and fully unwind it to avoid overheating.

Is the ZTRM1 safe to use in a bathroom?

1. Read and save this instruction manual for further reading.
2. This product is not suitable for well insulated for well insulated spaces or occasional use.
3. Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact. The appliance must be intact without visible damages which could be caused by transport. In case of doubt do not use it and contact our after-sales service. Do not leave packaging materials like plastic bags, foam polystyrene, buttons and staples within reach of children.
4. Before connecting the appliance check if the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit correspond to those indicated on the appliance.
5. In case there is incompatibility between the plug and the outlet, let the outlet replaced with another suitable one by a skilled electrician. He must be sure that the wire section of the outlet is fit to the appliance absorbed power. In general you are suggested not to use adapters, multiple outlets and/or extension cords. In case they must be used, only simple or multiple adapters and extension cords complying with the current safety rules in force must be used, paying attention that the capacity limit referring to the current value is not exceeded which is marked on the simple adapter or on the extension cords as well as the one of the max capacity, which is marked on the multiple adapter.
6. Use the appliance only for the mentioned purpose, namely for heating for domestic use. Do not use it for any other application as it could get dangerous. The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damages caused by improper or faulty use.

HOW TO USE

Plug in the appliance .Check that the outlet has at least a 10 AMPERE current carrying capacity. Select the speed by the turning the knob clockwise.

Turn the thermostat knob to set desired temperature.

SAFETY DEVICE

This appliance is provided with a safety device, it turns off the unit in case of overheating. Once the unit cools down (in about 10 minutes) unit will start working again. If the appliance is still turned off after the safety cooling phase ask for service.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The appliance needs only an external regular cleaning. After use and before cleaning always switch the appliance off and disconnect it and wait till the item is cool. Clean the grills from dust with a dry cloth.
