Can I use oil in this air fryer?

No, do not add oil to the basket or pan. This air fryer uses hot air circulation to cook food, so oil is not necessary. Adding oil can cause a fire risk.

How do I clean the air fryer?

Unplug the air fryer and let it cool completely. Wash the pan and basket with washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive brushes or steel wool. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water.

Why does the air fryer smoke?

Smoking is normal during first use due to manufacturing residues. If it persists, it may be caused by excess oil on the food or leftover grease from previous use. Always clean the pan and basket after each use.

The food is not crispy enough. What can I do?

Some foods may require a thin layer of oil to achieve crispiness. You can also increase the cooking time or temperature. Try shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even browning.

The timer does not seem to work.

Ensure the plug is properly inserted into an earthed power point. The timer must be set to the desired cooking time for the air fryer to start. If it still doesn't work, check the power supply and try a different outlet.

Can I put too much food in the basket?

No, do not exceed the max level indicated inside the basket. Overfilling can cause uneven cooking and may prevent the pan from closing properly.

Is it safe to leave the air fryer unattended?

No, never leave the air fryer unattended while it is switched on. The product gets hot, and hot air exits the outlet. Always stay nearby during operation.

How do I preheat the air fryer?

Plug in the air fryer, set the temperature control to the desired temperature, and set the timer to 3 minutes. Wait until the yellow heating indicator turns off, then add food.

The pan will not close securely.

This is usually because the basket is overfilled or not properly placed in the pan. Remove some food or adjust the basket. Also ensure the handle is in a horizontal position.

Can I use an extension cord?

It is not recommended. If necessary, use an extension cord with a wire cross-section large enough for the power rating (1300 W). However, to reduce risk, plug directly into a wall outlet whenever possible.

NOTE:

• Do not take out the pan while the deep-fryer is in use. Set the timer to 0 before taking out the pan when the deep-fryer is in use.
• Do not cover the air inlet or air outlet on the deep-fryer when in use. Do not touch the inside of the deep-fryer – risk of burn injuries.
• Do not add oil to the basket or pan – risk of fire.

• For best results, turn the ingredients by shaking the basket during the cooking.

• Plug the plug into an earthed power point.

• Turn the temperature control to the required temperature (80–200°C).
• Set the timer to 3 minutes to heat up.

• When the yellow light goes off, carefully take out the deep-fryer pan from the deep-fryer. Place the food in the deep-fryer basket (do not exceed the max level). Close the pan.

• Set the timer to the required cooking time (0–30 min).

• The food is ready when the timer peeps. Pull out the pan and put it on a heat resistant pad.

MAINTENANCE

• Switch off the deep-fryer, pull out the plug from the power point, and wait until it has completely cooled before cleaning.
• The pan, basket and surface of the deep-fryer can be cleaned with washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Do not use a stiff brush or steel wool, they can damage the surface.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the deep-fryer, do not use caustic substances for cleaning. Clean the surface after you have finished cooking.
• Do not expose the power cord or the deep-fryer to water.
• Clean the deep-fryer properly before putting it away in a cool, dry place.
