How to replace the lamp of the Optoma DW318E projector?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Remove the lamp cover (screw on the side). Replace the old lamp with a new one (ref. SP.83G01.001). Close the cover and reset the lamp counter in the menu.
Note: Always use an original Optoma lamp.

How to clean the air filter?

The air filter is located under the projector. Remove it and vacuum the dust with a low-power vacuum cleaner. Do not wash the filter with water. Put it back after drying.
Frequency: every 500 hours of use.

What connections are available on the DW318E?

The projector has an HDMI input, a VGA (PC) input, an S-Video input, a composite input, a 3.5 mm audio input, and a 3.5 mm audio output.

How to correct a distorted image (keystone effect)?

Use vertical keystone correction via the menu or remote control. Press the 'Keystone' button and adjust with the directional arrows.
Range: ± 40°.

Can I use the projector wirelessly?

No, the DW318E does not have built-in Wi-Fi. You can use an external wireless HDMI adapter for wireless projection.

What to do if the projector does not turn on?

Check that the power cable is properly connected and the outlet works. If the indicator blinks red, wait for the projector to cool down (overheating). If the problem persists, contact Optoma support.

How to switch between input sources?

Press the 'Source' button on the remote control or control panel. Select the desired source (HDMI, VGA, etc.) with the arrows and confirm with 'OK'.

What is the maximum image size?

The image diagonal can reach 300 inches (7.62 m) depending on the projection distance. Consult the distance chart in the manual for precise calculation.

How to reset the lamp counter?

After replacing the lamp, go to the OSD menu, select 'Settings' > 'Reset lamp counter' and confirm. This operation is necessary for proper lifetime tracking.

Can I use the projector in the rain or outdoors?

No, the DW318E is designed for indoor use only. Protect it from moisture and extreme temperatures. Use a protective cover if necessary.
