How to install the Optoma HD28E projector?

Place the projector on a stable surface, plug in the power and connect your sources (HDMI, VGA, etc.). Turn on by pressing the Power button. Use the focus and zoom rings to adjust the image.

What is the recommended projection distance?

For a 100-inch (diagonal) image, place the projector between 2.8 and 3.2 meters from the screen depending on the zoom used. Refer to the distance table in the manual.

How to adjust keystone correction?

Go to the OSD menu, 'Image' section, then 'Keystone correction'. Use the arrow keys to correct the vertical distortion of the image.

What to do if the image is blurry?

Turn the focus ring on the lens. Make sure the projector is perpendicular to the screen and the distance is appropriate.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off and unplug the projector. Open the filter cover on the side, remove the filter, clean it with a vacuum or lukewarm water (dry completely). Replace it every 500 hours of use.

When to replace the lamp?

A 'Replace lamp' message appears on the screen. The lifespan is about 4000 hours in normal mode, 10000 in eco mode. Replace with a compatible lamp (model Optoma BL-FP240A).

Can I use the projector without a screen?

Yes, project onto a white or light-colored wall, preferably matte. Avoid textured surfaces for a sharp image.

How to connect external speakers?

Use the 3.5 mm audio output of the projector to connect powered speakers. Adjust the volume via the OSD menu or remote control.

The projector does not turn on, what to do?

Check that the power cable is properly plugged in and the outlet works. Make sure the power indicator is blinking. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How to reset to factory settings?

Go to the 'Settings' menu, select 'Reset' and confirm. All settings will return to default values.
