Frequently Asked Questions - ET-DLE085 PANASONIC

How do I attach the ET-DLE085 lens to my Panasonic projector?
First, ensure the projector is powered off and disconnected. Align the red dot on the lens positioning guide with the guide grooves on the projector's lens mount cover. Insert the lens fully and rotate it clockwise until you hear a click. Then gently turn it counterclockwise to confirm it is secure.
How do I detach the ET-DLE085 lens?
Power off the projector and disconnect the power plug. Remove the lens mount cover by turning it counterclockwise and sliding it toward the front. While pressing the lens release button, turn the zoom lens completely counterclockwise to detach it. Reattach the lens mount cover clockwise afterwards.
How can I adjust the focus on the periphery of the projected image?
First, focus the center of the screen using the projector's controls. Then, manually turn the periphery focus adjustment ring on the lens to sharpen the edges. The ring has markings as a guide; refer to the projector specifications for exact projection distances.
What should I do if the lens gets dirty?
Use a clean, soft, and dry cloth to gently wipe off dust and dirt. Do not use fluffy cloths containing oil, water, or dust. Avoid applying excessive pressure as the lens material is easily damaged.
Is it safe to touch the lens surface?
No, avoid touching the lens surface with bare hands. Fingerprints and dirt can be magnified and degrade image quality. If the lens is not in use, always place the supplied lens cap on it.
What precautions should I take before replacing the lens?
Always turn off the projector and disconnect the power plug to prevent electrical shock. Also, ensure the projection lens is returned to the home position as described in the projector's manual before removal.
What is the purpose of the desiccant bag included with the lens?
The desiccant bag absorbs moisture to protect the lens during storage. Do not open or eat the contents. If it gets into eyes or mouth, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Keep away from children.
What are the dimensions and weight of the ET-DLE085 lens?
The lens is 140 mm wide, 140 mm high, and 206 mm deep. It weighs 1.3 kg (approximately 2.87 lb).
