How do I pair the speaker with my phone via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker. The LED will flash blue rapidly indicating pairing mode. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and search for devices. Select 'Hard Beat SPK409' (or similar). If prompted, enter PIN 0000. Once connected, the LED will stay solid blue.

How do I use the FM radio?

First, connect a Micro USB cable (or any headphone as antenna) to the speaker's Micro USB port. Then short press the mode button until FM mode is selected. Short press the play/pause button to scan and save stations automatically. Use the + and - buttons to switch between saved stations.

Can I play music from a USB drive or SD card?

Yes. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB, formatted FAT32) or a USB flash drive into the corresponding slot. Short press the mode button until music mode is announced. The speaker will play MP3 files automatically. Use the + and - buttons to navigate tracks.

How do I charge the speaker?

Use the included Micro USB cable and connect to a computer USB port or a 5V DC adapter (not included). The red LED will turn on during charging and turn off when fully charged. Charging time is about 2-3 hours.

Why is the LED light on the speaker not turning on?

The LED light can be turned on/off by short pressing the light control button. If it still does not work, ensure the speaker is powered on. The light operates independently of music playback.

How can I reset the speaker?

To reset, turn off the speaker and turn it back on. If issues persist, you can also remove the battery? (Not user-replaceable). Typically, power cycling resolves most glitches. If not, consult the manual for advanced troubleshooting.

Can I use the speaker while it is charging?

Yes, the speaker can be used and charged simultaneously. However, the LED light will flash in 7 colors while charging in 'ON' mode. This does not affect performance.

What does the different LED indicator colors mean?

Blue flashing: Bluetooth pairing; Blue solid: Bluetooth connected; Blue slow flashing: Music playing from SD/USB; Blue solid (paused): Music paused; Red on: Charging; Red off: Charging complete. For other modes, refer to the user manual.

How do I clean the speaker?

Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Keep the mesh grill free from dust to maintain sound quality.

What should I do if I cannot hear any sound?

Check that the volume is turned up on both the speaker and your device. Ensure the speaker is connected to the correct source (Bluetooth, FM, etc.). If using Bluetooth, make sure the device is within range (10m) and not obstructed. Try re-pairing or restarting the speaker.

Bluetooth Mode

Turn on the device, and LED will flash rapidly and will try pairing. Follow the operating instructions for Bluetooth connection on your device and allow searching Bluetooth speaker

Usually this is done by going to “set up” menu, connect for “Bluetooth” function and then selecting the option to search for Bluetooth devices

Your device (mobile phone,PC, tablet,etc.)will detect the Bluetooth speaker and ask if you wish to connect with the speaker. Press "Yes" or "confirm" to confirm this action

if your phone requires a password or a PIN number, enter 0000 and confirm it.
