How to replace the lamp of the Optoma WU335 projector?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Let it cool for 30 minutes. Unscrew the lamp cover, remove the old lamp, insert the new one (model BL-FU200A) and screw back. Reset the lamp counter in the menu.

What is the maximum resolution supported by the WU335?

The native resolution is WUXGA (1920x1200). It can accept signals up to 1080p via HDMI.

How to connect a computer to the projector?

Use a VGA or HDMI cable depending on your source. Connect one end to the corresponding port on the projector and the other to the computer. Select the appropriate input using the Source button on the remote.

The projector displays a 'High Temperature' message. What to do?

Turn off the projector and let it cool. Check that the air filters are not blocked. Clean the filters if necessary. Make sure the device is in a well-ventilated area.

Can I use the projector on the ceiling?

Yes, the projector is designed for ceiling installation. Use a compatible mounting kit. In the menu, set the image orientation to 'Ceiling Front'.

How to adjust the image sharpness?

Use the focus ring on the lens. Turn it until the image is sharp. Adjust the zoom as needed.

The projector does not turn on, the indicator blinks red. What to do?

A red blinking indicates a lamp or temperature problem. Check that the lamp is properly installed and the filters are clean. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Which cable to use for an audio connection?

The projector has a 3.5mm audio output. Connect speakers or headphones. You can also use the built-in 10W speaker.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Remove the filter, gently vacuum it or wash it with warm soapy water. Dry it completely before reinstalling. Replace it every 500 hours of use.

Can I use the projector with a mobile device?

Yes, if your device supports HDMI (or MHL) output. Use an appropriate adapter (e.g., USB-C to HDMI). The projector does not have built-in wireless connectivity.
