ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

Remove all packing from around the lamp and identify each part to make sure you have everything ready for installation. Lay out each part on a clean, flat surface, such as a table or carpet.

1. Begin assembling the lamp at the bottom and then proceed upward towards the lamp shade. First, install 4 long poles (H) onto the corners of the thick board (D) using 4 screws (A). Tighten each screw using a Phillips head screwdriver and make sure the long poles are aligned correctly to each corner of the thick board after you are done tightening. Next, cover the screw holes on the bottom of the thick board using the 4 cushions provided (G). Diagram (1)

1. Screw threaded pipe (B) halfway into the top of each long pole. Place one of the thin boards (E) through the threaded pipe on top of the long poles that you just attached to the thick board. Then tighten another 4 long poles on top of the thin board and make sure the corners of the poles are aligned with the corners of the thin board after tightening. Then place another thin board through the threaded pipes (B) on top of the second set of long poles. Diagram (2)

1. To install the light bulb socket, take socket board (C) and tighten the light bulb socket securely using the washer and butterfly nut. Then drop the pull chain directly through the hole provided. Screw in the light bulb provided (M) into the light bulb socket. Tighten the 4 short poles (I) on socket board (C), making sure all the corners are correctly aligned after tightening. Diagram (3)

2. Insert the 4 shade panels (L) into place. Once the shade panels are in place, install the plastic frame (F) on top of the (I) poles, using 4 screws (A) and tightening with a Phillips head screwdriver. Insert 4 plastic covers (J) over the holes on top of the plastic frame (F). Align the power cord down one side of the lamp. Attach the power cord to the poles using the included clips (K). SAFETY:

This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
