- Manufacturer takes no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect use.

Special Safety Instructions

Warning! To avoid the possibility of injury/damage to the appliance, electric shock, risk of fire and burns!
- Only use the appliance for its intended purpose (processing small amounts of foods) and as described in this manual.
- Never touch the rotating parts/blades with your hands and/or other objects when using the appliance. This could lead to serious injuries and/or damage to the appliance.
- Careful, when cleaning the blade, it is very sharp.
- Never use any boiling liquids. Allow those liquids to cool down first (lukewarm) to avoid serious injuries/burns.
- If the cutting knife should experience any problems during operation, switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains and remove the blockage.
- Never process any hard foods, e.g. nuts, ice, chocolate, etc.
- Whilst processing pieces of food, only fill up the mixing cup to 2/3, as the mix will rise due to the rotation of the blade. Never process large quantities at one time.
- When exchanging accessories always disconnect it from the mains.
- Never immerse the blender completely into the ingredients.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.

Before First Use
- Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.
- Fully unwind the power cord (6).
- Clean the appliance as specified under „Cleaning and Care“.

Warning: Plastic bags are a danger to toddlers and s, therefore keep them away to avoid suffocation.
Operation
Your stick blender can be used for processing soups, sauces, dips, baby-foods and for mixing fruit and milk shakes

Never touch the rotating parts/blades with your hands and/or other objects when using the appliance. This could lead to serious injuries.
Attach / Release the Blender

Rotate the blender unit to lock and unlock according to the silkscreen logo.

Processing of foods
- Put the resp. ingredients into a mixing cup or another suitable container. Cut the ingredients intopieces (2cm) first.

Attach the blender (2) to the motor unit (1) as described under Attach / Release the Blender and make sure it is properly locked.

Lower the blender (2) into the ingredients and make sure that the blade guard is completely covered.
- Connect the power plug (6) to a properly installed wall socket.
- Start the mixing process by pressing the speed control button (3). Depending on the foods and the amount, choose the speed setting (I=normal or II=Turbo).
Note: While using speed setting I, speed can be adjust by speed control wheel (4). Rotate upward to increase speed and roated downward to decrease speed.
- Once the mixing process is complete release the speed control button (3) of your appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
To properly blend the ingredients, move the appliance up and down and in circles.
Attention: The appliance is equipped with a pulse switch which does not engage. Once the speed button is released the appliance switches off, automatically.
Warning: DO NOT operate the appliance longer than 1 minutes (CO-time) at a time, to avoid overheating of the appliance.
Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down. Never immerse the motor unit (1) in water. Danger! Electric Shock!
Clean the appliance as soon as possible after use with a damp cloth and do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. Release the blender (2) as described under Attach / Release the Blender. Clean it in warm water using some dishwashing detergent.
Rinse with clear water and dry it properly. The blender (2) is not dishwasher safe. Stubborn stains can be removed with some vegetable oil.

The blade is extremely sharp. Risk of injury!
After use, store the appliance in a clean and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children.
Disposal Instructions

Waste electrical devices marked with this sign must not be disposed of with your household waste, but – according to the EU directive on Waste Electric And Electronic Equipment of 24th March 2005 – are to be collected separately. Therefore, please return this device at the end of its life cycle to special collection points for disposal or your local dealer.
Your stick blender 23515 is packed in a retail box. Such boxes are recyclable waste, i.e. they are reusable or recyclable.
