Frequently Asked Questions - 20200 KORONA

What is the capacity of the Korona 20200 kettle?
The kettle has a capacity of 1.7 liters, perfect for boiling water for several cups of tea or coffee.
Does the kettle have automatic shut-off?
Yes, the kettle features automatic shut-off when the water reaches boiling point, ensuring safety and energy efficiency.
How do I clean the limescale filter?
The removable limescale filter can be rinsed under running water or cleaned with a soft brush. For heavy buildup, soak in a descaling solution.
Can I boil less than the minimum water level?
No, boiling less than the minimum indicated level may damage the kettle due to boil-dry protection not engaging fully. Always fill at least to the minimum mark.
Is the kettle made of stainless steel or plastic?
The Korona 20200 has a stainless steel housing, which is durable and easy to clean.
What type of base does it have?
It features a 360° cordless swivel base, allowing easy placement and lifting from any angle.
How do I descale the kettle?
Use a commercial descaling agent or a mixture of white vinegar and water. Boil the solution, let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Why does the kettle turn off before boiling?
This may be due to boil-dry protection if there is insufficient water, or a buildup of limescale on the heating element. Descaling often resolves this.
Can I use the kettle to reheat cold water?
Yes, you can add cold water to already boiled water, but it is more efficient to start with fresh cold water each time.
What is the warranty period?
The Korona 20200 kettle comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep your receipt for proof of purchase.
