This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory 1. or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.2.

The mains supply voltage shall match the rating of your appliance.3.

Do not operate by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.4.

Pull the plug if you don't use the appliance or if there is a malfunction. Also pull the plug in the event 5. of a power cut.

Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas cooker or a heated oven. Keep the power cord away 6. from hot surfaces.

Do not immerse any part of this appliance in water or any other liquid.7.

The kettle shall not be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.8.

Pull the plug only by using the plug, not by pulling the cable.9.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly 10. qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

When you don't use the appliance according to these instructions we reject any liability.11.

Provide for sufficient moving space. Spilled hot water can cause scalding. Children are especially 12. vulnerable as their skin surface is smaller.

Close the lid for boiling water. Otherwise the temperature limiter will not work and the kettle will boil 13. dry. Then the safety switch makes the appliance unusable.

Unpack and Check

After unpacking please investigate the appliance for damage. Check the enclosure for cracks. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged in any way. Bring it back to the dealership immediately.

Remove all packing material, and keep it away from children.

Fill the water container with cold water and boil one or two cycles to remove production residue. Do not drink this water.

Boiling Water

Fill the kettle with water - more than minimum ( 0.5 l ), less than maximum. Close the lid.

Plug the appliance in and put the kettle onto the base. Press the switch down.

Wait until the switch switches off the appliance.

During boiling hot steam will exit the appliance through the filter. That's normal. Beware of scalding. Keep a safe distance.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

• Pull the plug before cleaning. Let the appliance cool down.
• Rinse the jug with warm soapy water (the inside only)
• Use a damp cloth on the enclosure.
• When you live in an area with hard water, let a solution of water and vinegar rest in the appliance once a month. This will dissolve the limescale.
• Clean the appliance only with a damp cloth. Don't use a sponge and make sure that no water enters the bottom of the kettle or the base..
• NEVER immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use paint thinner, gasoline, or abrasive cleaners. Abrasive cleaners or utensils make scratches which provide excellent hiding places for fungi and other pests.
• Do not use chemicals with this kettle.

This warranty declaration does not limit your statutory warranty rights as a consumer against the seller of the device. Our warranty is only valid for the private use of the device and is limited to the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The warranty period is 3 years from date of purchase.

At the discretion of HOME ELECTRIC, the device will be repaired or replaced or defective parts are replaced. Other claims are excluded.

If you have questions about HOME ELECTRIC products, save yourself the time-consuming way to the retailer and turn directly to our service hotline or our Service Center. A team of highly qualified product consultants and technicians is available to you Monday through Friday from 10am - 6pm.

To effect a warranty repair our service partner needs Proof of purchase, either as an original invoice from the dealer or the cash-register printed document. Furthermore, the serial number must be legible on the appliance. Without Proof of purchase unfortunately, we can not guarantee free services.

We recommend that you keep the original packaging in order to ensure a safe transportation of the equipment.

Warranty repairs may be performed only by the E2 Servicecenter GmbH. or from their authorized subcontractors or partners.

For other repairs all warranty becomes null and void and no reimbursement is possible.

No warranty is provided for:

improper treatment

mechanical damage to the enclosure

damage during transport

wear and tear

for improper and inappropriate use

for installation of the device in damp rooms or outdoors

for damages caused by force majeure, wars, water, lightning, overvoltage and other cases for

which HOME ELECTRIC is not responsible

in case of excessive use, especially when other than private use

disregarding the instruction manual and installation errors

if the device has no technical defect

for transport and travel cost, as well as setting up and dismantling costs

The warranty does not cover any further liability on our part, particularly not for damages which are not on the device itself or those costs caused by the absence of the device until the return of the repaired or replaced appliance (e.g. transport costs, handling costs, etc.).

However, our legal liability, especially according to the Product Liability Act, is not limited or excluded.

Our repairs do not extend the warranty period of 3 years not even with regard to possibly exchanged Components.
