- Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
- Use the high-pressure cleaner only as indicated in this manual for cleaning surfaces and objects outdoors. The appliance is not designed for continuous, professional use.
- Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
- Never leave the vised when in use. Keep out of reach of children or persons in need of supervision.
- Never direct the people, animals or plants. Do not point the high-pressure cleaner towards equipment containing electronic components. Do not clean the high-pressure cleaner itself with the water jet.
- When using extension cable water-safe. Only use extension cables which are approved for outdoor operation. Use approvable extension cable with a cable quality of H07 RN-F; 3x1.5 mm ^2 . Ask your electrician.
- For using the unit, we recommend the use of an RCD with a residual current < 30mA . In Switzerland the utilisation of an RCD is obligatory.
- Only use the high-pressure cleaner with the included accessory. Before using hoses, check for damages and do not use damaged hoses. Use only original spare parts which can be requested by Westfalia.
- First turn on water supply and make sure that the tap is open enough to supply enough water, before switching on the high-pressure cleaner.
- Observe the local and national codes when operating the unit in dangerous areas. Do not use the high-pressure cleaner in potentially explosive location. Vehicle engines may only be cleaned at location with appropriate oil separators.
- Clean very sensitive surfaces only from a minimum distance of 30 cm to avoid damages.

Safety Notes
- Do not spray on materials that contain hazardous substances (e.g. asbestos).
- Only use cleaning agent recommended by the manufacturer. Unsuitable detergents may damage the high-pressure cleaner and the object to be cleaned.
■ Always wear safety shoes and, if necessary protective clothing when operating the high-pressure cleaner.
■ Always hold the gun and the lance firmly with both hands because the water jet produces recoil to the gun. There is risk of injury! - Do not upturn or tilt the high-pressure cleaner to the side when operating.
- Operate the high-pressure cleaner in an ambient temperature of 0°C to 40°C. The max. water supply temperature should not exceed 60°C in order to avoid damaging the unit.
- Do not use the high-pressure cleaner with water containing impurities.
- Never immerse the high-pressure cleaner in water or any other liquid and do not grasp the socket with wet hands.
- Please switch OFF the high-pressure cleaner and unplug from the power supply before cleaning, maintaining or when not in use.
- Do not jam the cord or pull cord around edges. Do not pinch the power cord in any way and keep it away from hot surfaces.
■ Make sure the cord does - Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble the appliance or try repairing it yourself.
Before first Use
Remove the unit and the accessory out of the packaging. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Clean all parts of the unit before using for the first time, as described in the chapter "Cleaning" on page 14.
According to factory-made functional tests, residual humidity can remain in the pump. Residual humidity in a new article in not a fault.
According to BS EN 1717 it is not permitted to connect a high-pressure cleaner directly to mains drinking water supply. Short-term connection is permissible, if a backflow preventer valve is installed in the supply hose. Respect the requirements of the local water supply company when using high-pressure cleaners.
The high-pressure cleaner is provided with overheating protec overheating protection protects the motor against overheating and damaging. If the thermal sensor is activates wait some minutes. Wait until the thermal sensor has cooled down and switch on the cleaner again.
Assembling
- Place the high-pressure cleaner on a solid, level ground. Do not operate the high-pressure cleaner tilted bun only in upright position.
- Insert the filter (3) into the water inlet connector (4) and screw the water inlet connector with pliers using less pressure on the coupling for the water inlet connector (2).
The inlet filter must always be fitted in the water inlet hose to filter out sand, limestone and other impurities as these will damage the pump.
- Connect the water hose with the coupling and water supply.

Lock- Connect the high pressure hose (13) with the spray gun. For inserting the hose into the opening, first hold the lock lever (12) pressed and insert the coupling of the hose as far as it will go into the provided opening.
- Screw the other end of the high-pressure hose firmly on the provided coupling for the hose (6).
Make sure all hose connections are correctly and properly sealed before operating the high-pressure cleaner. Only hand-tighten the connections and do not use any tool to avoid damaging the coupling.

- If all connections are firmly tightened, turn on the water tap and connect the plug to a socket. The max. water temperature should not exceed 60^ C. Never switch on the high-pressure cleaner if water supply is not turned on in order not to damage the pump.
- Switch on the high-pressure cleaner with the ON/OFF button (1). The high-pressure cleaner is on in the position 1 and off in the position 0.
Operating
- Press the lock-off button (10) outwards in order to lock the trigger (11). The lock-off button on the gun does not lock the trigger during use. The button only prevents the trigger from opening unintentionally. Press lock-off button (10) inwards in order to release the trigger.
- Firmly hold the trigger (11) with one hand and the lance (8) with the other hand. Press the trigger and direct the lance to the object or surface to be cleaned.
- You can select two types of water jet. Turn the nozzle on the lance (7) clockwise or counter clockwise to achieve direct power jet, V-spray. The created working pressure in the high-pressure cleaner depends on the nozzle setting. The smaller the nozzle opening is, the higher the dynamic pressure will be.
Do not let the high-pressure cleaner working needlessly.

natural_image

The high-pressure cleaner can be ordered from Westfalia under the article no. 33 90 28.
Only use suitable and liquid detergents in order not to damage the object to be cleaned.
Cleaning and Storing the high-pressure Cleaner
■ Before cleaning or main a mains. Do not pull the cord to unplug from the wall socket but grasp the plug itself to unplug.
- Clean the nozzles with the insert any other object into the nozzles.
- Do not clean the high-pressure cleaner with sharp detergents or aggressive chemicals in order not to damage the surfaces.
- A l w a y s s t o r e t h e h i g h - p r e Remaining water in the high-pressure cleaner can cause damages to the unit. Disconnect all hoses and tilt the high-pressure cleaner and pour out remaining water.
■ Always keep the connections clean and dry. If necessary, lightly lubricate the connections.
■ Never clean the high-pressure cleaner with the water jet.
